You applaude the "good" in the form of research that comes with the death of the embryo.

I don't applaud the good that comes from embryo research how, I do thank God for the wisdom and understanding he has entrusted to man. Man doesn't always do the right thing with knowledge, but we do have an awesome God who giveth just the same.

Why do you not then applaude the "good" that would come from the involuntary harvesting of all available organs from an executed criminal?

I have not studied this area and don't know the reasoning placed in this practice. I distinguished murder because life for a life is biblical in foundation, however, I haven't given thought what to do with their organs.

Now I understand. Had to read your response a couple of times to get it through my head.

On that point, you and I disagree. I'll PM you to confirm.

Respectfully understood... I responded to your PM.

Christ freely gave Himself that others might live. He was not coerced, He was not murdered, He had the power to lay down His own life and the power to take it up again. He said, "No man has the power to take it from Him."

Jesus Christ did freely die for our sins. However it is incorrect to say that he was not murdered since Scripture states otherwise.

Acts 2:22, 23 KJV
22. Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23. Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Previously you said this - "Yes, I don't appreciate the taking of an unborn life but if another can benefit I find it better than just discarding the fetus. Yes it is an atrocity but at least it isn't a complete waste."

I have not studied this area and don't know the reasoning placed in this practice. I distinguished murder because life for a life is biblical in foundation, however, I haven't given thought what to do with their organs.

So what's to study? Why don't you just apply the same moral value system to a different situation?

An eye for an eye and then harvest the body so that it won't be a "complete waste"?

BTW, I am starting to think that you are deliberately dodging questions here. Not good debate form.

You beat me to it. I was going to say that. :tongue3:

But even though Jesus was murdered, He was not a victim. He chose to die by the hands of murderers.

I hope you don't mean me. I never supported the deliberate destruction of taking another life but said if the deed has already been done, and someone else can be helped, then at least the deed was not done totally in [sic] vein...[/quote]

Wow...so the end justifies the means, eh? Is it easier to say "deed" than terms such as "murder, extermination, infanticide?"

Good thing you didn't live in 1930's Germany. You could've been on the payroll...

Do you not even see the theological and ethical problem...that these "fetuses" (I guess "babies" is too painful to type) didn't have a choice?

I realize that you love Obama's politics and policies...but you are willing to do that at the cost of your conscience?

I have apologized for previous posts because they were over the line...but I do not apologize for this, because it is Biblical: the Lord rebuke you, for minimalizing the lives of the truly innocent. May you be convicted for your cavalier attitude of the slaughter of a generation of children created in the image of God Himself. I cannot begin to tell you how grieved I am that a minister of the Gospel would hold such a horrible, unBiblical, stomach-churning position.

May you realize the error of your ways...that viewing the murdered unborn as a "commodity" is an affront to a Holy God.

As Christians, we should not be involved in the destruction of any embryos, regardless of what someone else plans to do with them. Wrong is wrong. It is our responsibility to do what is right.
So test tube babies constitute murder since the process involves producing more embryos than are used. Right? Know many couples that have resorted to this to have children?

I don't think that's accurate. Support it with facts.
When Planned Parenthood offered vouchers back around Christmas-time, it was for basic health care services, or the recipient's choice of birth control method.

Which of those is abortion? Health care, or birth control method?

Not many at all. I personally haven't met one couple.

Last time I did any research on the subject, somewhere around 30,000 a year. If you figure at least two embryos in order to get one baby, that's 30,000 that are killed.

Now, contrast that with how many kids are waiting to be adopted.

Every time you bring up numbers, you conveniently overlook all the different numbers that are actually involved.

I am sorry.I thought most people was aware that they are one of the biggest abortion providers in the world. How did you miss that?

For the record: Planned Parenthood (on their website) does make a distinction between the morning after pill (Plan B) and the abortion pill (RU-486).
