He says he only uses it for particular women but it doesn't matter. The use of Nazi anywhere in describing someone nowadays is a slur and is offensive.

True that... I believe that is his intention. :wavey:

With your admission that his ugly title is not for all women, do you also think that some of the ones he calls by that name might possibly BE what he calls them? Or are they all lilly white and pure as the driven snow?

You'd have to name names, but it's irrelevant anyway. I guess they were just ASKING FOR IT, weren't they?

In some cases, yes. Have you HEARD what some of them have said?

Whatever happened to the Golden Rule?
12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them,

Since we're proof-texting here, I will make note of the fact that the verse speaks only of men. We're debating about women...
(And that is intended to be a joke...)

I thought she was wonderful, a breath of fresh air, and a rock-ribbed conservative. Then she sold out to the almighty dollar and I lost respect for her.

That is fine. But does or did she EVER deserve to be called what virtually everyone in the leftist media called her? It was horrific -- magnitudes worse than what Rush said in using the words he used. Much worse than ANY word I've EVER heard Rush use. He would have long ago been off the air had he ever used that sort of language. Case in point, what is happening right now this week from the use of two words that we can freely share on this board, slut and prostitute. Just IMAGINE if he used the "N" word or the "C" word to describe someone as many in the liberal camp have done, with impunity, against conservatives.

Yea, so? We're not talking about Obama's campaign tactics, so quit changing the subject. And I wasn't aware that Hillary used the 'c' word on one of her opponents.

She didn't... Obama's camp used it against her. Not even trying to change the subject, so you can drop that line, just an illustration of my point.

It is mostly true, but off the top of my head, Dems that have been caught doing improper things:

Charles Rangel
Anthony Weiner
Bill Janklow
William Jefferson

Sometimes they are forced to move on a story. And in most cases when they do their is either a delay to get to it, or it is downplayed as not such a big deal every chance they get.

Agreed. People like he and Dave Ramsey might have morsels of truth to offer, but their smug way they relay it turns many off, including those that agree with them.

I listen to Dave all the time. I have never heard anything remotely close to this from him.

They are neither Nazi's nor pure as the driven snow.

No, she doesn't deserve any of it. In fact, I started a thread decrying what Bill Maher said about her.

Maybe he's changed since I stopped listening to him back in '06. It was a normal show to call his callers idiot, dumb, etc.

My problem with the message from Rush Limbaugh is that is has no edifying purpose. He's a pot stirrer. He divides.

He's referenced watching the NFL with watch a gang fight between Crips and Bloods. He's joked about the Michelle Obama's weight, body shape, and how her clothes emphasize her body. He's called people retards. He's called women lazy cats who don't have to do anything except show up for meals and petting and who don't have to work. He's made terrible remarks about the President that are inappropriate. I for one do not like President Obama, but the focus in getting him out should be on what he is doing wrong, not calling him a "halfrican American" or "Barack the Magic Negro".

It's all appears to be just for shock value.

And - so what? A dozen or more other "entertainers" from all political flavors do the same thing.

My beef with Rush? He seems to believe that he speaks for the conservative camp. He doesn't.

I guess it's really my beef with people supposedly in the same camp as myself. There are men and women who hang on every word that HE says and then turn around and get mad when liberals do it. Why are we, as the right, going to get hot and bothered when the left does or says stupid things and then defend Rush when he does it?

Well, this kind of trash talk is either wrong or it isn't.

My opinion is that NO ONE should get away with it. And certainly NO ONE of any political persuasion should claim to lead their party by being a shock jock.

He just makes us all look so bad.

Yes, I agree with all that Scarlett has to say-----but what Scarlett so desperately needs to understand and grasp is------if she would just keep listening to Rush-----sooner rather than later what he has to say to her specifically----will begin to go in one ear and out the other---and she will inevitably become "numb" to the importance of what Hillary Clinton and Nancy Palosi are attempting to convey using "O" :laugh:as their springboard to Scarlett's mind!!!

See?????????
