Islamic Extremists always revert to despotism. Not all Islamic nations do, however. Greece would be a good example of this. Afganistan and Iraq are on their way to being more examples of this. And if we will hold the despotic leaders accountable for the way they rule their people, then Palestine would have a chance to do this as well.

This is an extremely unfair assesment of the situation. Support for a independent Palestinian state does NOT, by any stretch of the imagination, mean that one supports terrorism as a means of a "land grab" policy.

And so is this an unfair assessment of the situation:

We have to deal with what is realistic, cmg. You may not know about it but Christian Zionism is a very dangerous movement that has infected certain areas among evangelical Christians. Christian Zionism has no desire to see the Israelis and the Palestinians reconciled. I hope you are not allowing yourself to be unknowingly influenced by their teachings.

Fortunately, the Word of God is a quite potent antibiotic to defeat Christian Zionism.
It is a slur to suggest that Christian Zionism is a dangerous movement. It is also an attack on right-wing Evangelical Christians who support the Nation of Israel and believe the Land belongs to Israel through the Abrahamic Covenant, and NOT to the Arab people.

Basically that is what we on the board are dealing with - opinions...based on our own perceptions of historical facts and interpretation of God's Word, however right or wrong those may be.
