Meaning it should be legal?

Meaning that even if Roe is reversed states will have abortion legal to varying extents, so to actually reduce the number of abortions there will be social work to be done. I seriously doubt that reversing Roe will have a significant impact on the number of abortions in the United States. The majority of states(probably all as I can't see any state totally banning it) will still allow the procedure and those living in states that have severe restrictions on the procedure will just drive or fly(there already are and would probably be more organizations to help with this) to states that have less restrictions. The abortion rate in the United States is way, way down from its highest point around 1980, but is more and more concentrated among low-income women.

I think the pro-choice folks would find out that not having Roe is not anywhere near the problem with access to the procedure as they feared and the pro-birth folks would find out that reversing Roe did not have anywhere near the impact on reducing the numbers of the procedure as they hoped.

Okay, that's what I thought. Relieved.

Yes, it will then go to states and legislatures who can then limit and eliminate abortion in various ways, including making alternatives available, but also through the law. Reversing RvW will have huge impact on abortion.

All you have to do is look at how abortion skyrocketed after the RvW decision. To say it will have no impact when it's reversed is wrong. The Church involvement will increase for one, as they'll be able to vote against it in a direct way.

All this said, I don't believe we have the votes yet. Roberts and another judge will likely waffle.

If R vs W - is overturned -that States such as NY, esp NY City, will see a drastic increase in the murder of the pre-born.
In fact, I would think that NY State ( with D Gov, St Asy and Senate) would make abortion much easier to obtain.

Definitely. The question is, will abortions as a whole reduce simnifically? Once RvW is gone, local governments will be able to restrict it, and at least bring a stigma to it. Entire states may ban it. Christians will be able to vote against it directly, like never before.

In theory, this will change the perception and reduce abortions significantly.

RvW, has been the law that has prevented the battle from taking place. The true battle starts when it's gone.
