Age of accountability is a tough one, but one which I believe in.
I agree with many of the above cited passages and conclude that often God is far more gracious than I expect Him to be.![]()
A child may know something is "wrong" to do, but may not know it is a "Sin",
Even after the child makes the connection that wrong is sin,
it may be a while longer before they realize they must "Apologize to God" (repent) rather than "Mommy/Daddy".
It all comes together when the person "Recognizes" there is a "responsibility/recompense", either good or bad, for their behavior.
And with the different rates people "mature", age of accountability is impossible for "US" to determine.
I'm retired, but my wife keeps asking me when am I going to grow up, evidently, she doesn't think I've reached that "Age" yet. :tonofbricks::laugh:
