African Americans and the Glorification of Sin

What about the Indians? Many on this forum are old enough to have studied them. Did they not teach that stealing, murder, adultery was wrong?

“Without me you can do nothing”

I know apart from Him we can do nothing, but I'm talking about without freedom of religion it would be difficult to share the Gospel, not impossible, but difficult.

It is always difficult

Not if you act in the power of the Holy Spirit. I share the Gospel to everyone I meet now. It is not difficult if you truly love God and want to do the will of God:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. (Romans 1:16)

In my opinion, due to the racial injustice, inequality, that blacks have faced in the past and even in the present age, they are more susceptible to feelings of pain, hopelessness and wrath, so, in that, they are suspectable to demonization and the demons love ot glorify sin and Satan so it makes sense to me that more black music is sin-soaked than other types.

But then you could argue that pop music, which talks about having sex outside marriage and getting drunk and what not, is sinful too. And you have plenty of sinful pop music which has whites as well as black people writing and playing it.

It should be a given that I don't think EVERY black rapper or black rap is bad. But I guess common sense is lost at times. I enjoy Christian black rap at times when I can find it. I'm not really familiar with Lil Wayne and whether his music is sin glorifying. if it is, well, then he too is just as lost as the rest of them. A christian rap star wouldn't glorify sin in his music IMO

96% of black people voted for Barak Obama. Why? Because of his character? No it is because they are more racist than white people in America.

Freedom of religion is a mistake.

REALLY?

God doesn't want people who worship Him against their will, just putting on a show. Thus, He gives people the CHOICE to worship Him or not.

Freedom of religion was the MAIN freedom on which this nation was founded, along with freedom of speech. And, of course, there are reasonable limits on both. it's not freedom of speech to holler "Fire !" in a crowded theatre. It's not freedom of religion to perform a human sacrifice or an "honor" killing.

But we are free to be Christians, Jews, Bhuddists, Moslems, Sikhs, Shinto, or any other system of religion, within the bounds of not harming other people. Being persecuted for believing certain forms of religion is what caused many colonists to come here in the 17th & 18th centuries.

Islamic barbary pirates used to force captives to swear allegiance to Islam upon pain of death. Now, how many of them actually BELIEVED in Islam ? If you were thus forced to take Roman Catholic vows, would you actually stick to them, once the threat to your life was over ?

No, the US was founded upon GOD'S principle of CHOICE. He wants people to worship Him because they LOVE Him, & WANT to praise & worship Him, especially for allowing His only Son, Jesus, to bear the penalty for OUR sins.

Freedom of religion is NO MISTAKE !

For young black men between the ages of 15 and 44, the number one cause of death in 2017 was homicide.
