    Teach our children in school, in the home, and in church "You can't judge a book by its cover," and then wrestle some poor dark tanned guy to the floor because he doesn't want to endure ANOTHER "random" security check.

    All major terrorist acts performed against American interests in the last 25 years have been conducted by almost 100% young men of middle eastern heritage.

    It is absolutely insane to pretend this is not so.

    It is nuts to be searching a 78 year old grandmother and 6 year old little girls while young middle eastern men with foreign passports walk by without a glance.

    That is the epitomy of political correctness, with possible deadly consequences.

    There is no Christian precept that demands us to treat all people "equally", a manmade concept.

    Instead we are to treat them with love. We can be just as nice and loving as possible while we are checking the ID and bags of potential terrorists.

    True Americans, understanding the problem, will be glad to provide the proper ID and submit to a quick search.

    Those with a chip on their shoulder will scream bloody murder. Let 'em.

    So in other words you are saying that we should punish (or at l east suspect)the many for the misdeeds of a few? Is this what you are saying..... That's not very loving, no matter how you "pull it off."

    How do you feel about random liscense and registration checks on the highway? Same principle.

    So, in essence, they have won. They have you cowereing in fear every time an innocent person of Middle Eastern descent is around you. Yes, I have gone to the extreme, but this seems to be essence to what you say.

    People seem to be "seeing a terrorist under every rock." I truly feel sorry for them in their paranoid world where everyone of a Middle Eastern descent is a potential terrorist.

    You never answered my question - (Which I have rephrased) Should we have profiled and searched all young white males after the Oklahoma City bombing? It's the same principle.

    Basically, what is it - it's prejudice against people like us or like me. IF "caucasian Americans" had flown the planes into the WTC I'd bet this type of behavior would never had occured.

    WHY?

    I hadn't heard about that.

    How silly.

    Productive profiling is an act of playing percentages as well as using trained powers of observation. The facts show that you have to pay close attention to young males of middle eastern heritage.

    It's a fact. To ignore it is insane.

    Don't put words in my mouth. I never mentioned punishment of any kind. Taking necessary, practical precautions is the intelligent and prudent thing to do. Ignoring the facts for the sake of political correctness is a form of suicide.

    Let them think they have won. Who cares what they think? We should be watching what they do, not what they think.

    They can only win if all of us pretend they don't exist as you recommend.

    We use profiling until the enemy changes its stripes and the we use a new profile to find the enemy.

    We hunt them down and eliminate them.

    We do everything that we can to keep them from getting the upper hand again.

    They got lucky once - we need to repent - and make certain that they cannot get lucky again.

    We need to pray that the Sovereign God of Eternity does not let them get us again.

    Why?

    Because they are trying . . . and they will continue to try . . .
