I think that leaders in Muslim countries paid attention to what was said in the interview.

Sure...whatever you say...... They listened as they built their bombs

We are, by and large, an unthinking country who has realized that the ballot box is actually a form of currency.
PL, this is about as accurate a statement as I've read on this "opinion goulash" board in quite some time. The more one reads the liberal beliefs and doctrines, the more this fact becomes apparent.

I'm sure they did and will view this as weakness in only the first week of his presidency. When he arbitrates the 7-year peace deal with Israel and the Palestinians, some of us will know what's coming down the pike.
The way things are looking...you never know.

I am bothered by the fact that Obama is more concerned with doing an interview with an Arab news channel 6 days after being in office rather than dealing with more important issues. I feel it's inappropriate on so many levels...

This is the channel that allowed missiles to be fired into Israel from it's own studios, while the reporter giggled.
This confirms my feelings...

This move will show weakness on the part of the United States. This is what the barbarians look for. He is eating out of their hands.

Obama is on the track to take the title of "apologizer-in -chief away from Clinton.

Appeasement will work fine until the next 911.:BangHead:

Face it, no matter what President Obama does, the right-wing extremists will find a reason to complain. I think it is good to at least talk to these people, diplomacy should always be at least attempted. And, I think the content of what President Obama said was good and appropriate.

Obama is a socialist advancing a socialist agenda.

He's an appeaser and apologist for an America that need make no apology.

It's not hard for any thinking American to find something to be critical about.

And I think this interview reveals his true character.

I am a right-winger but am no extremist. At least I can be critical of policies of both the Republicans AND the Democrats. I am not a Bush bot, never was, but this president has done more damage to our country in the first week than even I ever dreamed possible.

There are a few Republicans that have a backbone: Senator DeMint of South Carolina, Senator Coburn of Oklahoma and a dozen or so in the House whose names I cannot recall, or won't look up. Unfortunately as a party the Republicans are afraid of offending the liberal elitest press in DC and perhaps the elitest in Georgetown [gotta party you know].
