Sadly, solid bible preaching men like those two are becoming fewer and further between. I certainly don't want the SBC to sink, as it has been a strong bastion for many years against the ever increasing apostate churches, but it doesn't look especially promising. There is little to no doubt that this infiltration happened partly because of the seminaries that belong to SBC, liberals have been infiltrating them for years in order to bring them down - Harvard, and many of the Ivy league schools are good examples.

Thought that Dr Mohler would have made a good leader for the Sbc, but his strong calvinism and not getting on board with getting woke up and CRT seemed to have cost him!

Mohler, Piper, Russel Moore and others are blowing whichever way the winds blow now. And the winds are blowing like Katrina in the direction of Wokeism and Wokeanity. I got entirely tired with their incessant dancing around the bushes, afraid that they might offend someone. Mohler and Piper still have the capacity to turn back IMO.

Doug Wilson, Jared Longshore, Voddie Baucham, Steve Lawson, James White, and more are so much more refreshing. They just spit out the Truth without care about all the P.C pagans and Wokesters.

LOL, Mother, Piper and Moore are wise in their fight against evil. Baucham, Lawson and White are excellent teachers as well. You have an opinion on the spiritual fight that is akin to a bull fighting in a china shop. Piper and Mohler are more careful in their fight. I call it wisdom from fighting for so many years. You seem to dismiss that wisdom and imagine it as fear. You are wrong.

Seems like many battles brewing in the Sbc tent, as now calvinists vrs arminians, charasmatics vrs none, to ordain women or not, to get woke up or not, crt or not etc!

Face the facts. The SBC has become a Woke Joke. Liberals are in charge. Conservatives won't show up in force to swing the elections. Most of the pastors I know don't want to go. They say they feel second class because the convention is mainly a seminary reunion and the non Seminary pastors don't fit in. They say they never get on any kind of decent committee because they don't have a big church. One pastor says he detests the celebrity worship at the convention.
All I can say is I went to one, and it was time wasted. I won't go back to another. I don't even go to a SBC church any more.
