They don't like it so they work to use the worst possible language to describe it nationalism which is an attempt to tie regular American Patriotism to Naziism.

Some do misuse the term, but the term does not mean anything negative. You do realize the left is trying to make the term "patriot" mean an anarchist who is trying to organize the taking up of arms against the Govt.

Yea but that is irrelevant to this. The term nationalist was never used to describe patriotism till the left started using it. Patriot has always been used.

Nationalist has been used. Nationalist vs globalist was a popular term after WW2.
