Well at least we have an admittance of the queer activist groups as the source of it. But before you write it off as a small thing you might want to have a read of this so we will all know where people are learning it from!

    From the Constitution Party:

    Dear Friends of Liberty,

Jim Clymer, National Chairman of the Constitution Party will appear
on the Mike Reagan Talk Show December 5th at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Please pray that Jim will be concise, "on-point", gracious and
    persuasive.

He will be appearing with Stacey Sobel, Executive Director of the
Center for Lesbian & Gay Civil Rights to talk about the PA Hate
Crimes Bill that was just signed into law yesterday.

Stacey was not only advocating this legislation but claims to have
written it. She says, "This legislation is believed to be the most
inclusive language of any hate crimes bill in the country ... for the
first time in PA's history Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender
people will be equally protected under the law."

Oops! I received the following from the Constitution Party this afternoon.

    Friends,

The Mike Reagan interview was last night. Please forgive the mistake
regarding the date. We will keep you updated on CP involvement in
    the matter there in Pennsylvania.

Joseph-first of all, let me say that I am against hate crime bills. Now, how can you say we should only punish the crime and not the intent? Are you saying that someone who has a wreck, accidentally, on the freeway and kills someone, and someone who shoots someone and steals their money should receive the same punishment? That won't hold water. I would, however, agree that, if a murder is done intentionally for no reason or for the thrill or for money, that the murderers should each be treated equally with an equal punishment. Here, that usually means death. You can't just sweep an argument across a broad variety of cases and apply the same logic to all of them. Each case and each crime is different. That is why I believe the judge ought to have more discretion in handing out punishments.

Canada: Huge gay class action suit OK'd web page

A judge has given approval for a $400 million dollar class action suit against the Canadian government on behalf of 8,000 gays and lesbians.

"It's the first time in Canadian history that a class-action lawsuit is going to be used to redress discrimination against gays and lesbians,'' said lawyer Douglas Elliott.

I am going after the two headed monster again. You do not have First Amendment free speech or worship. You are right though, it does not exempt religious organizations. I am thankful that it does not hinder a Church. There is a difference. Do you not realize that when a church becomes a "(c)3"
not for profit, it gives up it's constitutional protections. Drop the "(c)3" and then preach, shout, carry signs, do whatever you need to do, it is constitutionally protected. Pastors will not do this though because of the benefits that go along with it. When you go to the dance you gotta pay the piper. Every church in America that accepts the not for profit is required to obey the legislatures. That bill is unconstitutional on it's face. It will not stand against a pure test of the freedom of speech or freedom of worship. When will we learn?

By the way, Mike Mck and Baptist Bel. where are your answers on these issues?

    Thanks -----Bart
