I guess this is just my way of demonstrating Matthew 25:35 to the kids and their folks.

For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in. Matthew 25:35 [NASB]

I think that is stretching things a bit. Are you really saying that the children who go "trick or treating" do so because they are suffering hunger?

Sorry, Friend of God. My earlier message sounded sanctimonious and judgmental, but it was not intended that way - just another case (too frequent with me) of hitting the "submit reply" button too soon.

David, Nothing to apologize for. I agree my justification by using that Scripture could be questioned by some.

I agree with you about the submit button. Sometimes a post just can't be edited fast enough. I know, I've tried.
