All I want for Christmas is...

Aah, but you see, since a lot of my IMMEDIATE family has gone to be with the Lord, I have adopted those listed that I share "acceptance in the beloved" with !!!

 

I have really enjoyed reading the likes and dislikes of each of you! I can almost envision some of your rooms! It would be really great to be able to see pictures of each of you also.

Hey gang, I will be moving in a couple of weeks. It's much closer to my work and I will again be living in a real house instead of a mobile home (my mother's). It probably doesn't have much more room, except that the smaller bedrooms are a little bigger than in the mobile home, and the kitchen/dining area is bigger. Plus I will have a carport. My son has started his packing and I will start this weekend (all that pottery and glass, ugh)LOL
My mailing address remains the same as I have had my post office box for 12 years (which have been kinda nomadic for me. This is the fifth move in that time.) I will just be glad to get it over with and hope this is the last move for a loooonnnng time, if ever again.
The Christmas gift is still in the "thought" stage but after I get moved I will deffinately get it going. I won't be late. I'm never late for anything. It will deffinately be something special.

I ahve a good idea of what I am getting my secret pal, but currently have no time to go shopping. By next Saturday I ahve to sew an outfit for me, and a satin short jacket for the bride with decorations. Decorate next Saturday a m at the church, make a few things for refreshments.
But tomorrow is the weddiing shower. We have to be at church at 8:00 am to decorate. I am currently baqking mini quiches,a dn will make some mini muffins next, others are bring muffins too, we are having instead of punch an assortment of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. I still haven't wrapped the hostes gift and I have to go the bank this afternoon. Lets see, at some point I have to make a note to breath. But not till after the wedding.

 

I already got my secret pal's gift.. It's sitting in my room, saying "send me... send me..."

 

Yep.. you got me!.. whoops.. guess I shouldn't have said that.

 

I was at the store last night and thought I'd take a look at what I want for my pal,and they didn't have them, they alwyas do. I think I will have to go away from home to find just what I want. SO far I only have one small thing planned, and I want to get her some more, no idea what I could make, so maybe it will all be bought.

 

No, but when they get it, they'll know what's in the box!

 

mine will be mailed at the end of this week, since November is a hectic month and 18 of us leave on Nov 22nd for our missions trip to Uganda.
