All I want for Christmas is...

I am at a loss. My little secret pal said a little but I can't find anything she likes so far. *sigh*

Girls, try a nice looking ornament, or make an ornament if your crafty, girly things always work, like a bath set, or a foot care or face care set, nothing expensive all those bargins are coming out now for christmas.
NO BAKING FOR ME PLEASE SUE! I wouldn't be able to eat it, Robert might like it though.
i hope to be going Friday where I want to get my last thing for my secret pal and then I might be able to mail out the week after Thanksgiving.

But also every gal likes note cards, stationery, a basket with goodies inside, picture frame, etc. My problem is that I just wish I knew my pal better. I dont want to get something for the house that she might think is junk. I want to get her something that will make her feel special. So I am huntin' the perfect thing for my friend!

 

Maybe we have come up with some other gift ideas to help out those who are stuck?

I forgot to mention that I also collect jugs. Mostly small ones. One or two are quite old, cottagey sort. I also love to cross stitch fuchsias, irises and lilies. I have a few really pretty, tiny owl ornaments on my dressing table and I love crochet doillies.

Has anyone else any ideas to add to their original suggestions just in case someone is needing further inspiration?

I once had a butter pecan candle love it, didn't light it then couldn't find it, till I saw it in my sons room, all burned down. I love sweet scented candle, like baked goods.
I love anything for scrapbooking, acid free stickers aren't expensive, some of the dollar type stores have $1. packets of 12"x12" scrapbooking papers, I buy those whenever I find them and duplicates are great even so it wouldn't matter if I already had that packet.

Trying to be patient. Last year the Lord worked in a wonderful way for me and led me to what was perfect to bless my secret pal with. He is always right on time, teaches me not to be anxious for anything. I just have to remind myself, all in His time.

 

Just in case one of your ladies who is stuck is my secret pal.. I love candles, and stationary, and bath stuff.. oOo.. and postcards.

I used to collect postcards, but when I moved, the box with my candle and postcard collections got lost..

Thanks Elnora, I'll have a look tomorrow when I go to hopefully pick up my layaway. Which i ahve to return most of it, the older they get I always choose the wrong stuff.

 

Oh, so sorry to hear that Audrey, how did that happen? What kind of postcards? My little sister collects Victorian ones. She's is such a romantic. She loves red roses too.
