There was a story about three women who during a service of Lakewood church - they stood up and stated disrobing because of the stand the church took on abortion!

So on FB I asked if you support what these women did
(Note: this is a conservative page - but liberals are invited and encouraged to ask questions

Also, JO is a con man.

    1) good - then I will come into your house and start preaching!

    • Karla
Since joe doesn’t live in the church, your analogy falls flat.

  • Salty
    2) Keep in mind - I am no full supporter of Joel - but tell me - how much money does his church pay him
    • Karla
he uses his televised sermons to hawk his books. His church takes in $90 million a year and uses a paltry $1 million towards charity.
    • Salty
the question is how much does the church pay him?

      • Karla
      • I don’t know, and I don’t care. Whatever he is or isn’t paid doesn’t change the fact that he’s a con man.
    • Salty
Why do you say he is a con man?

    3) Protesting outside- at a business is perfectly legal
    • Karla
      • is it illegal to protest in a church?
    Salty:
    - I will let you pay a lawyer $500 and let him tell you!

  • Karla
  • I can tell you that it’s definitely illegal for you to enter my house, for any purpose including protesting or preaching, if you aren’t invited. Since you are the one talking legalities, you should be prepared to know the answer.

Joel ain't all that bad. No more money hungry than a lot of Baptists and no more theologically off than a lot of Baptists.
I have no idea why you dialogue with leftists by choice. I can't stand them. Do my best to avoid them. If y'all would take out a couple of trolls here, I would be real successful at completely avoiding them .

Because the Last thing Jesus said before his trip to Heave:

Acts 1:8 "But you shall receive power when the Holy spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (NKJV)

And I am sure that you recall that the Jews were not exactly friends with the Samaritans.

Sure, it may be easy to lead some folks to the Lord - but to have an atheist come to Christ Jesus as Lord - now that is quite a miracle!

You say you cannot stand them - that's why I sit down when conversing!

They could have been - But security escorted them outside - and Joel kept preaching as nothing happened!

I have heard a couple of his "sermons" and I am not sure I would call them preaching, a feel good message maybe but not preaching.

In one of those times a man stood up and began to rebuke Osteen for not preaching the word of God. He was taken out by security within two minutes.

Yes, he's done that before when people would seek to disrupt his lectures.

A Humanist speaker, not a pastor of Christ.

Salty are you defending Osteen, NO. What those women did was wrong and they should have be removed. The people there knew what they were going to hear from Osteen. Those women were no better or worse than Osteen, both were just putting on a show.

No one, even if they are invited in, has the right to disturb people in a private building. While I commend the man that rebuked Osteen I condemn the women that started to disrobe. One was doing the work of God the other were not.

The women's actions don't make sense. Osteen isn't a jurist on COTUS.
He has no link to abortion legislation.

These women in my view are bad actors ,sent to do this, and this isn't the only church where this kind of behavior has jumped off, as they reprise the tactics of the old Act Up movement. Only now for a different "cause".

The COTUS leak regarding Roe vs. Wade was intentional in my view.

Intended to do exactly what's been happening ever since and particularly in churches.

Because as we know inducing fear in the populace gives government leverage its quell.

Have you noticed the "investigation" into the leaker has gone quiet? No updates.

This is just another tactic of America's enemies within to cause division among the population. And set us at each other's throats.
Only now the conflict agenda seeks to instill chaos and division in our religious sanctuaries.

Only one thing about that targeting. They're not targeting Jewish temples or Muslim Mosques.

No surprise. Because the abortion issue gets more mileage in our community.

False flag?:Unsure

No, you were defending the rights of Christians to worship without intimidation, interruption and harassment.

And you were right. Karla doesn’t have a clue about why it was wrong which is typical of liberals that have a “win at all costs, nothing is off limits” attitude when it comes to pushing their agenda.

peace to you

I have prayed for God to pour His Spirit upon Karla, convict her of sin and reach out to someone (I suggested you) to lead her into the knowledge of the Truth of Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Until then, she will continue to act like lost people act.

May God bless that future witness opportunity, should He use you for that purpose.

peace to you

I think 1 Corinthians says that God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. We are the “foolish” things God has chosen.

God often does more with less. Opportunity knocks when you least expect it.

You may be the only Christian she “knows”.

peace to you
