Not only do they not worship the God of Abraham, Isaac and Joseph but Islam is a violent terrible religion. The only one sure way of redemption for them is to die killing others. That is contrary to the One, True and living God who sent His son to provide redemption.

 

Obviously you have never seen or read a copy of the Bible in Arabic. Allah is the Arabic word that is translated "God" in English.

 

When english speaking Arabs say the word in a conversation where they are using english do they say God, or do they say allah? I am currious why this is?If it is so "generic" then when speaking english why use allah?

When you speak to them they say "There is no God but Allah". So are they being redundant or are they using allah in a context that fits only the false cultic religion of Islam?

At any rate, Magnetic Poles is right. If you read the Bible in Arabic you will find that Isa is the only Son of Allah, so we need to be careful about what sort of blasphemies we utter. "Someone" is tricking us into saying diabolical things. Brethren (and sisters) please do not fall for this.

The word for "god" in Arabic is "ilah." The word for the God of Abraham is "al-ilah" or "the God" as in "the One and Only True God." "Al" is the definite article, the equivalent of "the", that is all. It is the same as capitalizing the word "god" in English. It means the One God.

 

A Jew is one because of nationality not because of religion. Muslims are so because of religion not nationality. Muslims come from many nationalities. When a Jewish person converts to Christianity they do not stop being a Jew. Muslims will kill anyone who converts to anything other than islam. the nation of Israel has a history of following God. The religion of Islam has never followed God.

 

Brother, this is an ideology, not a reality. Judaism is definitely a religion. Jews are a nation only if some ideologue chooses to define them as such. This could be Herzl or Hitler, the ideology can be pro-Jewish or anti-Jewish, but it amounts to the same thing: that Jews are a separate nation within whatever nations they live in. It denies that Jews are fully American, for example, and that has frightening implications.

You have been misinformed about Islam. They are definitely part of the monotheistic family and worship the same God we do.

It is you who have been misinformed about Islam. Being Monotheistic is not definitive of worshiping the One, True, and Living God. You cannot deny Christ and worship the same God of the Bible. And I would also add that Dr. Ergun Caner who is a former Turkish Muslim who converted to Christianity does not agree with you.

And as he would say you cannot be Muslim and Christian at the same time. However it is true that there are Jewish Christians. And the ideology is that of those who make feeble attempts to defend Islam. It is evil and murderous. and having come back form India recently I can say the Christian's and the Hindu's in India agree to the violent nature of Mulsims.


But if you can show me how one can deny the deity of Christ and still worship the same God as me I would be glad to listen.
