...'People Are Angry...Showing Their True Colors

Lee Daniels, director and producer of the new film "The Butler," lashed out on Monday's Piers Morgan Live at Americans who are "angry that [Obama] is president" and who are "showing their true colors."

Host Piers Morgan teed him up, asking if "America is a more or less racist country since Barack Obama became president?" Daniels responded that "sadly I think so." Actor Lenny Kravitz had a more positive analysis but supported Daniels' assertion about many Americans.

Probably because BHO has done more than his share of deepening the divisions and inflamming tensions between the races with some of his remarks.

Or probably because angry white people like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and the people listening to them have done their share of deepening divisions and inflaming tensions between the races with their remarks.

Point being is that a lot of yall are angry at the President and would just assume lay the responsibility of everything at his feet the same way Dems did when Dubya was in office.

There's enough blame to go around and it should start with the Church. As the ones who should be setting the example and pointing folks to Christ, a lot of us have opted to let our politics move to the front of the line. We thus end up exhibiting the same type of anger as an unsaved world. And it's a shame.

If Rush is an angry white person, than why has he had Walter Williams guest host for him on several times?

There are black conservtives that Hannity and Rush would be pleased to see as POTUS.

Zacck - its not a matter of hating a black (actually mullato) POTUS - its a matter of disagreing with a LIBERAL POTUS.

Tell me you're not using the "some of my best friends are _____" line?

I didn't say that they wouldn't. That wasn't my point.

Perhaps with some. With others, the prejudice borders on hate.

Obama is a racist and he has done as much to fuel division in this country than anyone else.

Opinion. If he's a racist, then so are you and a lot of other folks on this board.

I frankly don't care what your skin color is. I want to know if you know Jesus or if you don't. And if someone IS a Christian, they need to act like it and stop making statements that do the same thing that you accuse other people of doing.

The news and politics section of this board are two of the most disgusting displays you'll see anywhere outside of Yahoo.

Thereis no reason for Christians to be getting so upset over politics. How about getting upset that folks are going to hell while we're complaining about politics?

With the Zimmerman killing of Trayvon Martin, Obama thought he had to make a speech which included "Trayvon could have been my son." With this Oklahoma killing, of which there is much less question of it being a murder, is he going to say the 2 black teens (a third involved was white) could have been his sons? Or will he say the Australian victim could have been his son?

If not "race-baiting," then what was his purpose in saying Martin could have been his son?

Drop race for a moment. He could have been anyone's sone as long as there is the "Stand Your Ground" law. Shoot someone and plea I was fearful for my life.

Would Trayvon have been found guilty or innocent if he had killed Zimmerman and pleaded his was fearful for his life as Zimmerman had a weapon?

Classic divide and conquer. Black vs white, left vs right, liberals vs conservatives. Whatever it's all the same game.

Divide and conquer. The state fears a united and powerful population so it seeks ways to keep us divided and arguing amongst ourselves to weaken our ability to make any real or lasting change in the way the establishment rules over us.

Corrupt governments always use division to stay in power. Works the same today as it did in Roman times so it's an old game people have seen before. One would think people would wise up to it in this 'enlightened" age. Guess giving up our petty differences is more difficult for us than standing up to the "elitist" crooks that use them against us to protect their own power.

I doubt if he would have been convicted of anything either. The more of a media circus is made of a criminal trial, the less likely the accused is convicted. O.J. Simpson and Casey Anthony immediately come to mind.

But are you claiming Obama didn't mean anything "racial" when he was speaking to mostly black crowd and said, "Trayvon could have been my son?" And will he say that this Australian could have been his son?

And expel your own putrid brand of prejudiced bile as a byproduct.

You're still on ignore, oh person who cries racebaiter as often as you say Al cries racism.
Still on ignore, oh false accusing liar? Apparently in your liberal zeal of race baiting, you have a hard time understanding the concept of what ignore means, let alone what even constitutes prejudice. Go back under your bridge.

The contents of this thread must really tickle the innards of the people who work to create and capitalize on divisions. It shows their work hasn't been in vain.
