Did I hear someone say that the Bible is very clear about the issue of women pastors?

I am so glad that some people go "strictly by Scripture" ........and that there is "only one way to interpret "the Bible -.......

You somehow think I am unaware of the issues.

Dr. Paige Patterson, who has been a major advocate of the CMBW, apparently did not think there was only room for one viewpoint to the exclusion of all others. He had Dr. Ellis (who I referenced earlier) teach at his seminary. My view is strongly informed by Dr. Ellis as he was a member of our church and a family friend.

As an extremely conservative expositor of scripture, he made the case for women in ministry in his published works and his classes. It was only a small area of his work, but it was explicit and was used in classes at Dr. Patterson's seminary.

There are a number of scripturally-based viewpoints on the issue. We must study the scriptures for ourselves to determine what we believe we should do when women report that God is calling them into vocational ministry.

The problem in this issue is that tere are NO Fundametal Baptists, nor conservative ones, that should allow for wome to be ministers of te Gospel, asthere is NOscripture to supporttam able t be ordained leaders!.

Deacons, yes, pastors nd elders no!

Correct. There is only one way to interpret Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

And:

Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
Ouch and zing!

I'll inform the rest of Christendom that you have declared the true meaning.

Can yu point out ANY NT passages that gives support to notion of women as spiritual head/leadeship in a local church?

Or for that matter, as the Head of the household ether?
