Where are people getting these negative ideas and attitudes about our great country?

"Homicides last year increased by 17% in America’s fifty largest cities. That’s the largest increase in 25 years. In our nation’s capital, killings have risen by 50 percent. They are up nearly 60% in nearby Baltimore.

Nearly Four in 10 African-American children are living in poverty, while 58% of African American youth are not employed."

"We have a country that needs new roads, new tunnels, new bridges, new airports, new schools.”

“We owe $20 trillion, and we’re a mess."

"Flying into U.S. airports like LaGuardia in New York feels like visiting a third-world country."

Sometimes I think you are contrary just for the sake of being contrary. Good grief.

For heaven's sake, Trump ran down the country for a year and a half. His slogan was an admission that we are no longer a great nation. He called our infrastructure a "third world country". Our unemployment rate is actually higher than reported. We're letting illegal immigrants into our country that are rapists. We're letting terrorists slip in with refugees. Our inner cities are disaster areas. On and on and on he droned about what a lousy country we live in.

He has already begun to make America great again by draining the BHO administration swamp of the lawless, socialists and Marxists.

If a regime change is your criteria for "draining the swamp", then any Republican could have achieved it, not just Trump.

Uh no he "droned" about how Obama and the dems tore apart. Many aspects of our government and our standing in the world. However, that was not all of what he said. Maybe you should research all of his message not just that which you feel you can use to tear him down.

I disagree, yes perhaps any could have but only Trump is doing it (IN MY OPINION of course).

Please list one thing Trump has done to remove Obama administration officials from office.

Yes, I believe what is best for America and being governed by the Constitution. I believe we have the spirit and imagination to lift every American to a decent standard of living. ITL brought out some good points that are a part of this. Despite eight years of Obama, twelve years of the Bush family, and eight years of Mr. Bill, the infrastructure is on the edge of collapse. (Drive down the PA or NJ Turnpike). There is enough to do for every American to have a good paying job. The inner cities are in shambles. There is enough work that will bring in taxes to balance the budget. We need to stop putting our nose in every country on earth. We need to take care of our nation, and let those who want to fight alone unless the United States is threatened. Then we declare war, fight to win with a quick exit. The enemy can clean up their own mess. The UN needs to be on foreign soil, and we should limit our treaties on a bilateral basis. Government is there to serve we the people, not enrich Congressmen. The first job of government is to protect the nation. Education is a state function. We need enough new members of the Supreme Court to overturn Roe vs Wade and same sex marriage, and let each state decide.

Turn on your TV and listen to the new administration personnel names.

Sure, but that would be the same with ANY Republican candidate's victory. Old government officials would be replaced. Nothing unique to Trump.

I suppose so. Too bad there aren't any of those people posting in this thread. Makes me wonder why you changed your tack and started making accusations. Oh.

Merely pointing out pessimism and pride do not work well together... ...granted, by aggressive means that poke into one's reasoning behind the pessimism... ;)

Same thing happened with Reagan; same thing happened with George W. Bush. They would have hissy fits no matter.

Indeed. I find it difficult to even wrap my mind around the mindset of those who would admire and/or even approve of their leadership showing disesteem for their own homeland as he went about to disrepute our nation in front of the world.
Maybe they should all move to Canada along with Rosie O'Donnell.

BYE!!

Yes, it was exactly like what's currently happening. I lived through it and I'm currently reading "An American Life", Reagan's autobiography, so I know of what I speak.

I don't have to read a biography to know what happened that the lies and propaganda garbage slung at Trump was unparalleled in history.

HankD

That could be. However, you said the amount of liberal hysteria and "hissy fits" is unparalleled. No, it's not. It was the same during Reagan. I could agree with you about the amount of propaganda garbage slung at Trump being unparalleled, merely because of the internet, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
