Has anyone anyone ever heard of Ames Christian College, (Lake City, Fl)

I am not familiar with them. This one paragraph on their about page "kind of" answers your question:

AMES Christian University does not have a regional secular accreditation. If you are desiring to pursue a degree for secular employment, a degree with AMES Christian University may not be the right choice for you. ACU does not guarantee a job or ordination in any specific market or ministry. ACU is not listed at this time with a U.S. Department of Education-approved accreditation agency, and an ACU degree is NOT specifically suited for people pursuing secular jobs such as public school teachers, state university professors, and state-licensed counselors or psychologists, among other vocations requiring state licensing.

Might add: Statement of Faith – AMES Christian University
"We are a non-denominational school with students from many diverse backgrounds. Our doctrinal beliefs are very similar to the Assemblies of God however we are not affiliated with them.

These are the tenets of faith as we see them: non-negotiable elements of a Biblical worldview . . . ."

There was a religious Christianity college years back, I don't remember their name though I remember how much I felt burned, they claimed all these accredidations, turned out fake as could be. And the thesis I did for my doctorate, it sounded like 90% of it was used by that one Christian-politician fella that moved with his daddy to Kalispell MT area. My thesis was on a comparison of the Book of Romans with American politics. Man, when you spend so much time and effort in something like that and find that someone you don't agree with *might* have used it in his own article to make him money....I'm sorry guys, you cannot understand what it's like until you have been there. You just cannot describe the insult level you feel over it.
