Amy Coney Barrett a mistake?

Many at The Conservative Treehouse seem to think so.

An interesting dialog. Gets interesting at the 10 minute mark.

They believe Lagoa is more conservative.

Lagoa is more attractive to me for the job and younger. I did read she does not have as great a volume of her judgements to read on about as ACB.

My initial inference from pundits was that ACB is the most solid in her judicial philosophy, while Lagoa is more confirmable. Now I'm hearing the opposite. Hearing some real concerns about ACB. Rushing is apparently the top choice, but admittedly too young (38). Perhaps she'll be considered again in a couple years. Lagoa seems to be the frontrunner for conservatives.

I know there are 2 other women under consideration, but don't know who they are.

Still see the top choice as the one that will cause the Dems to have seizures, ACB!

Yes, as she's the most vulnerable in our politically correct society. But that doesn't necessarily mean she'd be the best judge.

Either one is okay by me, I think Lagoa's personality is much more in sync with that of Trump's, and she will probably get the nod when Trump meets with her this Friday.

While a noble thought, believe me all of the candidates will give them a seizure. They'll just have to bit their tongues with Lagoa, and suffer in silence.

Yes, since they had decent words for her before and they dont want to further alienate the latin vote in Florida by trashing her.

Did you listen to the OP link? He makes a great case for Lagoa, and against ACB. But Bushing sounds best, just unlikely to be confirmed.

My first priority is quality. What I'm hearing now is, Lagoa may have ACB beat there as well.

But that's from limited sources. I'm sure more pieces of the puzzle will arise.

ACB keeps getting invited back now though to speak to the president!

Trump has had several events with Latinos lately which I suspect may be leading up to a Barbara Lagoa nomination.

However, ... if I had to bet I'd have to guess Barrett...

Edit: Ehh, they are starting to say Barrett is a done deal...
