Speed Gracer,
I knew the very moment I conceived a child. I don't know HOW I knew. I KNEW. I had been trying for awhile, and each time, before any "signs" or "tests" or standard "yes or no" things could be determined, I knew I had not, and I knew the moment I did.
I felt the life in me, and I praised God for it. Doctors and family laughed at me. Said it was too early, it wasn't a life, and a lot of other lies.
Same thing happened the second time I conceived.
Now, YOU may look at it and say, "It wasn't a life until 8 weeks," but I took the test at 5 weeks, and at 5 weeks the doctors said, "You're right. You ARE pregnant."
The first life you are claiming is "just an egg and sperm" is now a missionary. The second is an amazing musician and honors student with a heart for God.
The Bible says that God breathed life into man out of the dust of the ground. That breath of life is STILL moving in this world.
Why is there a need to kill it if, as you suggest, it isn't going to turn into a human being? Why "abort" if it is "just the components of life and not really life?"
Because you KNOW, and every abortionist in this world knows, there is a TREMENDOUSLY large chance that if you leave it alone it WILL become a human being and you don't want it to.
And knowing that you are ending a life is murder.
Why do people try to pretend it is not?
