I say the same thing to you. I don't recognize any authority in either one of you. And I think we are on topic.
Judge not, lest ye be judged.
Judge not, lest ye be judged.

I did start the thread but I am not a moderator.By the same token, neither are you. What gives you the right to tell standingfirm he is wrong for saying the thread should get back on topic? What gives you the right to change the topic since you did not start the thread and are not yourself a moderator?
True, that was the OP.The topic is whether one can go a full day without sinning or not, not wine, not those who are devoted to God but don't even know His Son.
We are way off topic.
All standingfirm said was 'let's get back on topic.'Dale-c said:I did start the thread but I am not a moderator.
I believe it was a defense by Curtis. SFIC made a statement and Curtis said that it was not his place.
J.D. said:I think I went through lunch today without sinning. Am I living in victory now?
Dale-c said:True, that was the OP.
So, which do you believe, can one go a full day or not?
I haven't seen a clear belief of your either way on the issue.
Bro. Curtis said:I am appaled & saddened that people would tell someone they can't be saved.

Reading from Galatians, chapter 2...
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20 I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
But it is a sane request...Bro. Curtis said:You didn't start the thread, nor are you a moderator.
