They only know negative examples and see no need to witness to the lost.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but I do not see the need to broadcast my efforts to further the Kingdom of Christ. Your statement is patently unfair to those you do not personally know.

And you wonder why people question your maturity...

Did you also sell all that you have and share it with other believers?

The first century church was living together and had a government like that. In america people live miles away from one another and do not live like that. Also they had poverty to fight and we in America do not.

You need to look at the CONTEXT before you reply to a post.

Oh well, then maybe we need to all move, live together, and have a government like that. After all it must be a commandment since it was what they did in Acts. And by the way we do have poverty to fight. You seem to live in an isolated world. I can assure you there is much more out there than what you see.

Also, do you have the ability to tell me the "context" in which the street preaching was done?

and how was that garbage

Salty, it challenges him.

I feel bad for him. I think that he has potential to accomplish much, but he has so set his mind against any wisdom other than his own.

You do know that others may see value in what he has to say. You can't dictate who we put on ignore. Just because you ignore someone does not mean the rest of us will.

Do not attend church for a month nor listen to any sermon

Hebrews 10:24-25 "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

Acts 2:42 "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."

What you are asking is for us to disobey God.

Now, show me the verse that says that we must read books.

I would leave off the last four words of your last sentence.
