Brother, you placed this OP in the Calvinism debate thread. Now from what I have seen posted by Calvinist concerning the "invite" is that it is unbiblical. But you say Calvinist do invite all people to Christ. I hope this is true, for it is the biblical truth to invite all to Christ.

 

Also understand this is the Calvinism debate thread. Obviously most Christians are opposed to Calvinism. To call them unsaved is absurd.
This is not the "Salvation by grace alone through faith alone" debate thread. ALL here stand on the "Salvation by grace alone through faith alone." doctrine. Calvinism has no independent claim to this. This is how Calvinism actually infects the mind, poisons it against all who would oppose the doctrine of Calvinism. Not all Calvinist get to this extreme of error, however, it seems the longer one sets his mind to defend the doctrine of Calvinism the more one becomes hateful towards brothers and sisters who reject it and expose it's shortcomings. A few here on this board have displayed such. They know who they are.

 

If I said what I am accused of, "hating Salvation by grace alone through faith alone", then report my post which I said such, I should be reprimanded or banned. If I did not, those who said I did should be reprimanded and made to apologize. (Just a note, nobody has brought forth any such post of mine as of yet which is very telling).

 

How can I be an interloper? I am a Christian, this is a Christian debate thread. All Christians are invited to participate. You do not like the fact that I called you and others out on your bearing a false witness, slander even. Rather than repent in humility, you want the thread closed so it will fade away and others cannot see what you have done. I think it should remain open until you guys repent. But that is up to the Mods. Like I said, I have yet to be reprimanded or banned, so I guess I haven't done what I have been accused of doing....did you even report my post for review? No, because I said nothing of the sort of which I am accused...

 

Not sure why you think it has been destroyed. He makes a great point in that this is a specific Cal/Arm debate. It is expected that the issue will be debated.

I too see a bit of a conflict concerning your testimony and a strict adherence to a Calvinistic view (which I think many caricaturize).

So the thread is still doing what it is supposed to be doing, generating debate.

Just for the record. I hold no animosity towards my brothers and sister in Christ who have cast these personal attacks against me. I have already forgiven you and love you guys in Christ. The repentance of your words and public acknowledgment of your wrong doing is for your own benefit, for your relationship with Christ and the body of Christ to be healed, and for your respect in the body of Christ to be restored. They probably are not watching right now. You will have to pm them maybe. I would just report my post, then they can delete the ones where I said I hated the gospel of grace alone by faith alone and they can reprimand me.

 

Why should it be closed? Steaver applauded your actions, and that he made the point that in ministering the squabbling of Cal/Arm becomes irrelevant in situations like that is a good point.

That you responded and addressed it, as did several members, was okay as long as you were the one doing it. So why should it be closed now?

You did God, SG, and ministered where there was a need. Let's just hope that this event will have eternal value in her life.
