BLM is made up of trained Marxists, and Marx said religion is the opiate of the people, so go figure...these creatures are the chaff, the tares, the evil one is whom they follow, desiring to do his will and worship the devil, even though they do not know that..

Is it that Christianity is the opiate or all religion in general?

Marx would have been thinking about that 'pie in the sky' heaven idea of Christianity which was the official religion in Europe in his time and area of work. But of course communism today suppresses all kinds of religions, and pseudo religious movements.

I think that Marx disliked Judaism, also. Walter Martin used to say that during the Korean War there were 2 groups that the communists couldn't break: Muslims who would recite that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet and secondly Christians who would say Jesus loves you and I'm praying for you.

Look at Tibet to see the communist repression of Buddhism.

I object to Marxism as a vailed form of oppression, so by taking ‘religion’ off the table, the Marxism system just takes a competitor off the political spectrum. But I’m questioning Christianity focus specifically. If a Marxist society forbids ‘religion’ they are not specific, ie Judaism, Islam, Hinduism etc.

Is Russia a communist country? If so then why does Putin identify as a Russian Orthodox Christian?

Putin is former KGB as you know. He apparently is a Russian nationalist and considers the Russian Orthodox Church as part of Russian identity. Princeton Professor Stephen Kotkin is the world's leading expert on Stalin whose biography he is completing. You may find his opinion of Putin on YouTube. Russia has an unmanned nuclear sub capable of blowing up NYC. I myself consider Putin ready to use that weapon.
