Analytical
Analytical Stan had a plan.
Get a mate, start a clan.
But his plan – not a chance.
He didn’t like to sing or dance.
He wouldn’t sweep her off her feet
when the other sex he’d ever meet.
But tell her all essential facts:
The things he brings and things he lacks.
Advantages all neatly listed
must be considered ere they tristed.
Surely she would come to see
that Column A beats Column B!
Surely she would come to sense
advantages and recompense
of life with such a splendid man!
This was the plan of hopeful Stan.
