LaRae,

There are very few Catholics actually here and if this type of venom will eventually make us all leave....which of course could be the objective.
I agree, its all he can expect to achieve or should I say hope to achieve. Certainly strange tactics for a man who "does so much to lead the lost to Christ".

I hope the Catholics stick around, maybe if we all stand up to this type of thing we'll eventually see some of the fruits of the Spirit shining through.

God Bless

I do not see anything funny about this. In America, everyone has the right to worship.

While I certainly would not like, or want someone to mimic my Lord and Savior Jesus, nor is this behavior a reflection of how my Lord and Savior Jesus acts.

If I were a catholic person, or anyone other than you, I would not run to the Lord, but you would have chased me away.

Bringing those to the Lord, and fellowship with the Lord, is done with love and kindness. This is mean.

I do not see where the Lords light shines here.

Well technically Sundays in lent don't count as lent (count it, there are Ash Wed to Easther = AW - Easter - Sundays) so I am going to do this one post.

First of all if Mr. Baptist Pope were truly concerned about children he would be ranting about Planned Parenthood and their coverup of molesters as well. This does not excuse any Catholic priest who has harmed a child but it proves bias and biggotry as has been charged against the Baptist Pope.

By the way, this post is not intended to prove anything about Baptist doctrines. It is only intended to show there are plenty of planks out there. Mr. Baptist Post has raised a non-sequiter, red herring, or whatever you want to call it. There are plenty of sinners in every denomination.

God bless.

Secondly there are plenty of problems in other denominations. Here is a link complete with stories if you have the stomach for them. Plenty about baptist pastors.

http://www.reformation.com/CSA/

And if he needs more to show this is not just a Catholic problem, I will resume posting in a couple weeks. By the way, did you know that 13% of Baptist pastors cheat on their wives. Now I can gaurantee you alot fewer Catholic priests cheat on theirs. Blessings.

I just have to post some more fun facts:

"most American churches being hit with child sexual-abuse allegations are Protestant,"

"The surveys suggest that over the past decade, the pace of child-abuse allegations against American churches has averaged 70 a week."

Read it for yourself.

http://www.csmonitor.com/2002/0405/p01s01-ussc.html

Seems insurance is helping to keep these stories out of the papers.

Once again, my apologiest to anyone I might offend by this. I am only showing that there is plenty of blame to go around here and Mr. Baptist Pope does not know what he is talking about. His accusations are only the result of biggotry as has been charged. This is not a joking matter as he makes it out to be. I have more statistics and articles if he persists in his childlike behavior after lent.

Chris

There you have it, anyone with an ounce of sense could see this coming a mile off. The inevitable result of scandal-mongering and mud slinging.

What a wonderful message of Christianity we are sending out to the non-christian visitors to this site.

Happy now? :(

This is the kind of testimony this **** has. I should think he better get on his knees and beg for mercy from Almighty God, using such language while ridiculing another religion.

This character is neither Baptist nor Pope, at least he sure doesn't represent the Baptists I know.

Cheers,

Jim

Actually Thess, I did do some ranting about Planned Parenthoods coverup back in Jan. of this year. See for yourself:

I suppose you must believe 'ranting' is to the glory of God.

How do you guard against it being simply a thing of the flesh? How you you ensure it's a spiritual endeavor?

(Yes, these are serious questions)

Helen/AITB

p.s. Do you think the lesson of the following words of Jesus might be "Pay more attention to your own sins and less to everyone else's"?

Luke 13:1 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them--do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

Well I'm for the Underdog.

Consider that Baptist Pope is saved by the same belief
in Jesus as each one of you who slanders him.

His fervor to lead others to Christ is not diminished by his
rejection of the RCC. His lack of accepting or conforming
to the RCC does not injure his standing with God.

Just maybe, the upholding of those who are content to believe
wrong doctrine is a bigger sin than those who expose that doctrine.

The last few posts are evidence that even God's select are
capable of harboring hateful thoughts and spreading ridicule,
as am I.

Now that we're all on the same level, lets be aware that
those who would project a favoritism with God are only
being led by apostasy.

Face it ............

Catholicism is not the One true Church as they claim.
Baptists are not favored by God.
The Workers 2x2 Organization is not the "Way"
Sabbath worship is not a requirement to salvation.
Baptist Pope is saved by Grace through Faith.
We're all under the same covenant...

Whosoever Believes.

I wonder where Bernard Law is right now. Was he ex-communicated? Is he in prison? Where is the justice for the victims that he helped to facilitate their torture all of these years?
