That's what I was thinkin.

Just noticed this here thread.

Too bad that we will never get "a rather lengthly response already composed as well as a substantial body of information , all cited from the Scriptures." ( 11/16 ) from Q on this subject . He left the BB-scene earlier this week .

Before you get too giddy, it's for 10 days.

Yeah....... he can come back and build more bridges between the reformed and non reformed. Or was it burning bridges? :tear:

It was the latter RB . I got a kick when he referenced himself as a "former Limited Atonementist and believer in other Calvinisms." ( 10/24 ) . He claimed to have "taught Calvinistic doctrine regularly ." But it was certain he did not know what he was talking about .

...and there's no reformed BB members that do this, I suppose
I find it ironic that some calvinists' posts are only in regards to this topic (I'm not talking about you, I believe you have a heart of fellowship).

I noticed the Npet was banned to. Does anyone know what happened there?

I'm not sure Allan. I did happen to notice that npet's posts were becoming less friendly than I would have liked to have seen. I think maybe that was in response to the like posts from those on the other end of the theological spectrum... but that is no excuse. I hope npet is able to come back, but I pray that he would have a more Christ like spirit when he does. (if he does)
If a personal plea from BB members would maybe help, then i'm making that plea. I would love the ability to talk with him and help him to have a little more grace in his postings, regardless of what may be given out from the other side. When I speak in this manner about npet... I am speaking to myself also. If I am not able to season my responses and posts to more Christ likeness, then hopefully before I would be banned, I would have the sense to give myself a vacation from the BB. I have done that before, and I pray that God will give me and others the ability to debate in brotherly love and with unity in diversity.

Moderators and Adminstrators have certain "guidelines" to follow in both suspensions and bannings

Usually---suspension comes first---after 10 days in "The Big House" he/she is free to post again----a second infraction usually warrants a banning--but that would depend on moderator/administration council.

After a person is banned---he can "plea" his case of reconciling and be reinstated---but thats a rare bird!!

So, is there a chance we will see our brother npet again? On this BB of course.

Does a moderator give a PM warning before supension? or just Whamo!!! Sometimes posters are just trying to hold their own, without calling names. You can confront with scripture and if it continues even with scripture, after a while you seem to be a hot head, when you really are not.

Depends on how close they get to Marshal Dillon before he pulls his pistol!!!

Some seem to get repeated warnings before suspension---some just get one warning

just like at school ;)
