Animals in Church Christmas Pageant Upsets PETA

The animal-welfare group wrote a letter to the church asking officials to cancel the animal portion of its Celebration of Christmas

[PETA's Deputy Director of Captive-Animal Law Enforcement Brittany] Peet said PETA has reached out to city and state officials to try to shut down the show.

"In our 36 years dealing with live animals in our shows, we have not observed activity we felt constituted abuse or mishandling of animals," church spokesman Atwood Standley said in the statement. "If we ever do see any such activity, you can be sure that we will address it swiftly and emphatically."

I can't imagine why they would want all those animals but if that is what "boggles" the minds of PETA then it doesn't take much.

I go even further and say there should not be pageants used in the Church!
