Yeah, yeah, yeah. I’ve heard it for a long time now. You think your side does things right, the other side is evil incarnate. Folks on the other side from yours think that their side does things right, the other side(your side) is evil incarnate. It’s a major gripe I have with conservatives and liberals - they think if they could just have their way with running government, then government would be pretty much run perfectly and create paradise on earth, if those folks on the other side weren’t opposing them. I agree with the Founding Fathers - government is run by fallen, corrupted human beings and its scope and power should be limited so that regardless of the political leanings of the people running it that the damage they can do is limited.

And if your party ever got power--God Forbid--it would be the same thing with you. Trump acted very well on the Chinese virus. He got the best advice and spent hours in public discussing the issues with the press and the American people. He got the tip from Dr. Didier Raoult about HCQ and we were right behind the French in authorizing that medicine. I could go on and on.

Meanwhile Woodward did say that Coats and Mattis were planning a coup at the National Cathedral of the Episcopal Church in Washington DC. Mattis is just no good and Coats ought to go to prison.

Where do you stand on a coup?

Yes, there has been very little difference between dems and repubs when it comes governing.

That changed with Tr:mp. Folks from both parties united in their hatred for the outsider upsetting their corrupt arraignments.

Curious, do you think he has governed more as a libertarian than a repub.?

peace to you

I know this wasn't written to me but Trump is a pure Republican and nothing Libertarian because Republicans are not trying to restore the Garden of Eden as the Libertarians claim. Also, Trump went to the aid of drug addicts and went after drug dealers, which the Libertarians would never do. Also, Trump went after the sex trafficking of children and bringing in children for sex from south of the border, which Libertarians would never have done. Also, Trump has stood for life and appointed pro-life judges, something no Libertarian would ever have done.

This garbage about creating paradise on earth is a tired Campbellite Church of Christ charge that has nothing to do with Baptists who are practical people. You need to stop making this outrageous obscure 19th century charge from the Church of Christ. The Baptist Faith and Message contradicts it and I never heard a Fundamentalist say that we could return to the Garden of Eden. I think that the guy who said that probably was describing plantation owners in Tennessee and elsewhere.

Once again, this virus was no worse than the Hong Kong Flu and if the truth were told. this lockdown is criminal.

Silvio Canto, Cuban communist dissident now living in Dallas, says buy your wife some roses instead of spending $30 on the Woodward book and you will be happier.

Would the Libertarian Party eventually become as corrupt as the Republican and Democratic Parties? Yes. But it would take decades for it to happen, just as the Republican and Democratic took time to become the Big Government, Deficit Spending juggernauts that they are today. And during those decades we could at least have a mitigation of the damage that the Republican and Democratic Parties have wrought on this nation.

Let's see. Signed a gigantic tax cut that blew a giant hole in the already gargantuan federal deficit as well as continuing to massively increase the national debt. Signed another gargantuan spending bill this year that created an unfathomable yearly federal deficit for this fiscal year that ends on September 30 and quickly escalated the national debt; and regardless of what merit this spending my have had because of the pandemic, he did so without providing any plan whatsoever to balance the budget within five years from now. This problem must be rectified. I have no reason to believe that either Trump or Biden will do so.

So Trump has just continued the Big Government, Big Deficit Spending policies that the Republican and Democratic Parties have promulgated during the 21st Century.

No can do. It is part of my beliefs based on my understanding of the Bible concerning the fall and corruption of mankind.

So now we conclude that you do not believe the Baptist Faith and Message, which certainly does not think that we can restore the Garden of Eden. I really wonder if there is anyone out there who believes that or uses that as a purpose and goal? The Democrats don't believe in anything like the Garden of Eden. I just don't know anyone who believes that we can work our way back into paradise unless it is the members of Antifa.

What was Trump supposed to do, induce a national panic?....

Is it just me, or are these "scandals" getting more pathetic by the day?

If Trump was guilty of downplaying, would they really need "secret" recordings? Doesn't downplaying, have to be public?

Or maybe i'm misunderstanding. Honestly, these "scandals" are getting so boring, they're hard to follow.

Post-mills, I believe, are just about extinct. Though I'm not sure about Catholicism.
