That's a very sad tale, & the comments report a similar death in USA. Personal incompetence, nothing to do with the system.

My experience -

Last July, during the heat wave, I woke up about 5 with nasty chest pains & being sick. Was it a heart attack & severe heartburn?

My wife called the emergency NHS number 111 & paramedic arrived promptly, checked heart condition (ECG) & called an ambulance.
I was in hospital by about 8 am, tested, given injection, water, etc.

I was soon felling better & discharged at 10 am with instructions to drink more water (rather than tea) & take it easy.

That's how the NHS works at its best.

And from an emergency to non-urgent: this morning I went to the local NHS hospital by appointment to have a plug of wax removed from my left ear. I had gone to a private clinic last month thinking that I'd have to wait months for one from the NHS but the private people, despite mugging me for £85 and inflicting pain on me, weren't able to get it out (so they graciously offered me a refund). My appointment was at 930 this morning. I turned up early, and was seen not just promptly but at 925. 10 minutes later, the offending plug was removed and I could hear properly again.

Do you have ear problems ? My ears plug up all the time and I’m able to clean them myself with a rubber syringe.

.
I cannot find an instance of a baby’s head staying in the womb in America. I also cannot find where a mom was given a decapitated baby to hold in America. Help me out.

Thank you.

Yup. Just as horrible. Pretty much the same deal. Just a matter of sentencing, now.

So do mine and usually what you suggest works, particularly if I use oil drops. But this was a fragment of a silicone ear plug that I used (never again!!) to help me sleep and which broke off and got lodged in the ear canal.

Ex-spy Sergei Skripal discharged after poisoning

Sergei, his daughter and a police officer were poisoned by a Russian Nerve agent two months ago. It was thought that they would die, but after treatment at a NHS hospital, Salisbury General Hospital they have all been discharged. They all have to have further treatment.

Well done NHS - but it has not been established who did the poisoning.
It is remarkable that the poisoning took place only 8 miles from the Porton Down establishment. My immediate thought was a false flag operation using a sample from Porton Down.

Blaming Russia was convenient but was not confirmed. In fact the UK Foreign Secretary was caught lying.

That stinks.

Absolutely: it sounded like I had water in that ear for months. I honestly didn't think the nurse would be able to get it out...but she did. And now the world seems much louder on that side than on the other: evidently my brain had been trying to compensate for the reduction in hearing, rather like we used to do when we were playing a bad tape recording by adjusting the balance of the speakers on our sound system in the 1980s

I have to admit to some tenitus after all these years of playing guitar professionally. I can still hear well but if there’s a lot of cacophonous background noise in a restaurant I can barely hear the people at my table.

When I was younger I had a wart grow into my ear canal and I remember some pain and nausea associated with that. I had to have it removed.

I have a hearing problem that is nothing to do with my ears -
When the minister chooses a modern religious song, usually by a singer-songwriter writing for his own performance on guitar, I often find it difficult to pick out the tune from what the pianist is playing. And with extended intervals between lines & within lines, I don't know when to sing.

For the last 50 years I've had the music book in my hand, so I could see the music. Now its all on screen.

It's worse than the previous examples of bungled delivery resulting in death. It's seriously inhumane not to help a crying baby.
