Here are some thoughts from The Exposition Of The Gospel Of John by A.W. Pink on prayer... Brother Glen:)

"At that day ye shall ask in my name" (John 16:26). In the day of the Spirit believers would ask the Father in the name of Christ, not only plead His name as a motive, but come to God in the value of His person. What an incentive is this for each Christian reader to engage in this holy exercise! "The benefit of prayer is so great that it cannot be expressed. Prayer is the dove which, when sent out, returns again, bringing with it the olive-leaf, namely, peace of heart. Prayer is the golden chain which God holds fast, and lets not go until He blesses. Prayer is the Moses’ rod which brings forth the water of consolation out of the Rock of Salvation. Prayer is Samson’s jawbone, which smites down our enemies. Prayer is David’s harp, before which the evil spirit flies. Prayer is the key to heaven’s treasures" (John Gerhard.)

...so, @SGO, you're Jewish, right? Why else would you be putting Jews 'on the pedestal''?...which seems to be the whole gist of this thread.

    Hello kyredneck.

I am after the blessing promised here:

2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3

    In addition,

Jewish and Gentile believers live from the same root:

And if some of the branches be broken off,
    and thou,
    being a wild olive tree,
    wert grafted in among them,

    and with them

    partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
    Boast not against the branches,
    Romans 11:17-18a

We are one with Old Testament saints and New Testament believers who identified themselves as Jewish.
In fact our Lord was born Jewish and will remain so in eternity, Revelation 5:5.

There are too many Christians who think Jewish people and Jewish believers are less than Christians in some respects.
"They are a separate group," they say.
Look how many people on this forum do not think to praise God for His work with His chosen throughout time.
Some consider me a bit off for putting this on a Baptist forum but indeed I have been blessed.

Praise to God he has one people in Christ.

Praise and thanks to God for His blessing.

10 How then was it reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision: Ro 4

16 Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
29 And if ye are Christ`s, then are ye Abraham`s seed, heirs according to promise. Gal 3

2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the concision:
3 for we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh Phil 3

The Chosen People are not the enemy or Jesus would have renounced His heritage after fulfilling the Law and Romans 11 and many other scriptures would not be in the bible.

    Weep not:
    behold,
the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
    the Root of David,
hath prevailed to open the book...
    Revelation 5:5

He opens more than one book.

Apparently these scriptures are not in the bible you read.

Even the quote at the bottom of your every presentation contradicts you.

Our Messiah (John 1:41), and Lord, Jesus Christ (2 Thessalonians 1:12),
was born, raised, lived His earthly life, and rose as a Jew:

    Genesis 49:10
    Luke 1:32, 2:22-40
    John 1:11, 4:9, 18:35
    Acts 2:30
    Romans 1:3
    2 Timothy 2:8.

    He had a Jewish mother:

"Mary’s genealogy is supplied in Luke 3:23-38. Dr. Henry Morris explains how we know this genealogy is Mary’s:

Joseph was clearly the son of Jacob (Matthew 1:16, so this verse [Luke 3:23—says “son of Heli”] should be understood to mean “son-in-law of Heli.” Thus, the genealogy of Christ in Luke is actually the genealogy of Mary, while Matthew gives that of Joseph."
    https://christiananswers.net/dictionary/mary-motherofjesus.html#genealogy

He was born King of the Jews (Luke 2:2).
He died King of the Jews (John 19:19).
He died for all people (John 3:15-17).
We are one in him (Galatians 3:28).
He is still Jewish and will remain so for ever (Revelation 5:5).

    Based on these scriptures,:

And I will make of thee a great nation,
    and I will bless thee,
    and make thy name great;
and thou shalt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee,
and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all the families on earth be blessed.
    Genesis 12:2-3

    It hath pleased them verily;
    and their debtors they are.
For if the Gentiles have been made
    partakers of their spiritual things,
their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
    Romans 15:27

you can show the thousands of people who read the Baptist Board
    along with You Know Who by making a simple declaration;
and by doing so await your blessing.

Like this one: God bless Jews and Israel.

Apparently, in the last thread with a very similar title, many forum members were unclear as to why the above request is on the Board.

Don't you want the blessing God offers in Genesis 12:3?

Specifically, "And I will bless them that bless thee"

You might ask if the "thee" is Abraham, the physical nation of Israel, or the Israelites who believe(d) in God.
It doesn't really matter to me although I see some prejudice against Jews on this board mainly by people who either don't think that Jesus is Jewish now or that He never really was Jewish.

When we see Him in the future you can argue about it with Him.

Look at this scripture and then say He is not forever Jewish:

And one of the elders saith unto me,
    Weep not: behold,
the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
    the Root of David,
hath prevailed to open the book,
and to loose the seven seals thereof.

So, @SGO, how do you go about worshipping, or paying homage to your precious Jews in order to earn this favor from God?

What's required to adequately 'bless' Jews?

    Sir,

I worship the God of the Jews and the God of the Gentiles.
Those that believe are one in Christ.
I thought you also worshipped a Jewish Savior.
A Jew who is the King of the universe.
The Lion of the tribe of Judah,
    the Root of David,
The One who came to save sinners not the righteous.
And I will bless them that bless thee,
and curse him that curseth thee:
and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

What is required to adequately bless Jews in order to obtain God's favor? Send them money? You have a charity or a cause in mind?

Nice talking with you Mullins man.

    How do you bless someone?

How about sharing scripture where God hates unsaved Jews.

Do you think He is carrying a grudge because some of the proud ones had a hand in killing His Son?

Does He hate any person who is unsaved?

    Scripture please.

You make 'a distinction' between Jew and non-Jew that the scripture tells you multiple times is not there:

And the Spirit bade me go with them, making no distinction...Acts 11:12

and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith. Acts 15:9

even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction; Ro 3:22

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him: Ro 9:12

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him: Ro 10:12

where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all. Col 3:11

There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one man in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:28

For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit. 1 Cor 12:13

15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace be upon them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Gal 6

14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition,
15 having abolished in the flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace; Eph 2

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice: and they shall become one flock, one shepherd. Jn 10

...only Dispies make a distinction....but you seem to go beyond that, placing Jews on a pedestal, bordering on idolatry.

You seemed to have missed this from post #29.

"Those that believe are one in Christ."

    Here is the "pedestal":

And I will make of thee a great nation,
    and I will bless thee,
    and make thy name great;
and thou shalt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee,
and curse him that curseth thee
    :
and in thee shall all the families on earth be blessed.
    Genesis 12:2-3

If I misrepresented myself some way, and that could be so, I apologize.

    Do you dislike Jews?

    You probably like this one:

And so all Israel shall be saved...
    As concerning the gospel,
they are enemies for your sakes:
    but as touching the election,

they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

    Romans 11:26a, 28

Praise God He loves the people of Israel.

    For it is evident
    that our Lord
    sprang out of Judah;
    Hebrews 7:14

Praise to God our Lord is Jewish.

We Catholics use the term COMPLETE JEW. Christianity is the complete Jewish faith.

I got a Jew Fro. Are you Jewish? Do you suspect some folks here hate Jews and you trying to get a rise out of them?

Sometimes your down to earth and very real, like if I joke with you it comes out, but Sometimes you come across ......a bit borderline might be the term?(i ain't no head expert) Do you feel like people are out to do you wrong frequently?

I like the "complete Jew" term
but personal questions are not for a public forum.
    What is "a Jew Fro."?

But unto them which are called,

    Christ the power of God,
