I was surprised, but shouldn't be, a left of center Democrat like Buttigieg has to clear the way for Biden. Bernie may get the nomination, which would be a disaster to establishment Democrats and left of center Democrats. It likely kills any chance of beating President Trump too, I have heard Democratic strategists argue.

I expect Klobuchar to get out tomorrow or immediately after Super Tuesday. Her state of Minnesota is up Super Tuesday. That said, Elizabeth Warren may get out tomorrow or just after Super Tuesday with her state of Massachusetts up on Super Tuesday. Unless Bloomberg does well, he will drop out most likely. Steyer is already out.

This sets up a two way contest between Bernie and Biden. Exactly what the Democrats didn't want in a real way. It sucks up their fund raising dollars on an internal fight while President Trump hauls in more and more money to sit on for his reelection campaign. It also divides the Democratic Party into two factions that may not show up to vote if their chosen representative fails to secure the nomination.

I still believe Biden will get the nomination, but that Bernie Bolshevik will run as an indy, thus all-but-ensuring Trump's re-election.

It's Buttigieg [boot eh jheg] and yes he has dropped out.
...
No, the campaign early on made it Boot-edge-edge, though his "wife" suggested something akin to Booty-judge, which seems a stupid move, as too much like a playground taunt. Maybe he thought it would pick up more of the black vote. But maybe most of the black voters don't cotton to a man with that kind of "wife." In any case, thank God they don't care for his kind for whatever reason.

LOL, now Steyer and Amy, and Mayor Pete and Amy have done gone endorsed Biden . . . WHAT???

High risk play on the eve of Super Tuesday to try to stop Bernie going in. Haven't seen any of their internal polling, wrong party, but it must show Bernie waaaaaaaaaaay ahead. All they have to do is to make sure Biden gets to fifteen percent tomorrow. All those Californians that voted early for Mayor Pete early are just out of luck but they won't be Bernie votes.

The Dems are closing ranks. If you think this is good for Trump you're sadly mistaken.

Could you please point out where 777 said that Pete and Amy's endorsement of Biden is good for Trump? I've looked and looked and I can't see it.

(I do see a strawman argument, though...)
