Answering the Emerging Church

I would have this to say about these men you mentioned. I converse with them often, and have not found them to be problematic, per se. May I suggest that you take the time to get to know them, one-on-one, which will help you in better knowing what they feel conflicted about with your posts.

Each has an opinion and we are just not going to agree on certain things.

It's clear, you have no idea what you're talking about. The emergent leaders don't even use that term "emergent" any more, you're only about 5-10 years behind.

I would say do yourself a favor and quit while you're ahead, but you've convinced yourself that you
a. Know what you're talking about
B. Doing something useful

So tilt away Quixote

Go chase a rabbit. It sounds like you are friendly towards their doctrines.

Wait, so are we back to the point where, if someone doesn't agree with you and give you their blessing, then they're obviously in league with those you're against?

Evan - some of the advice here is worth listening to. If you are not fully aware of what they teach, then how can you effectively tell them that they are in the wrong? Also, how can you reprove and rebuke, in love, when you claim to be "confrontational" and "militant?"
