Antifa Protester Yvette Felarca Says Violence Against The Far-Right Is ‘Not A Crime’

Yvette Felarca, the Berkeley area school teacher and militant left-wing protester responsible for organizing the riot at the University of California, Berkeley in February 2017, claims that violence against the far-right is “not a crime.”

Felarca, who belongs to “By Any Means Necessary,” a far-left group, is currently facing assault charges after she was caught on video assaulting a white supremacist during a July 2016 rally in Sacramento, Cali.

The school teacher and her compatriots engaged in violent clashes against members of the far-right Traditional Worker’s Party, which had a permit to march in the city. The violence between the two groups resulted in a number of assaults and multiple stabbings. In July 2017, police charged Felarca with “assault by means of force likely to inflict great bodily injury, participating in a riot, and inciting a riot.”

As reported by Huffington Post on Wednesday during her arraignment, Felarca described her actions as a form of self-defense, and therefore “not a crime.”

“Standing up against fascism and the rise of Nazism and fascism in this country is not a crime,” she said. “We have the right to defend ourselves.”

There are some on this board who agree with her and have postulated the same opinion. Stuff like that is why Rush and a couple of others think that we are headed into another civil war.

And today they're in Boston, fighting fascism by beating up old ladies. Classy bunch.

The original NAZI fighters had to face tanks, battleships, Stukka dive bombers. The current "anti-facsists" are opposed by a few hundred guys in football helmets.

I believe that antifa is evil and are not how they try to present themselves. However, I do not think it is fair to compare them to isis. They are not even close. At least not yet.

I wonder what the response will be when they try this stuff in a solid conservative setting? They are getting embolden by the flaccid response of liberal governments, but, at least I would hope, the police response will be quite different when they try these mob tactics in a not-so-friendly atmosphere.

And here one Antifa protestor was arrested for using her board with attached nail against a police horse:

What they have done is to redefine what "self-defense" is so as to justify their criminal behavior.
If any of them mess with me I will show them the true legal application of self defense. Stick meets Glock. Flag pole with nail meets Walther. Bottle meets Ruger. Pepper spray meets Smith and Wesson. I never leave home without one of them. If someone puts me in a position where deadly force is legally justified, they will meet their maker quicker than they anticipated.
