Just found on their website for A&E belong to Church of Christ.....

Which one, don't know, but 3 of the sons are ordained ministers, and that the one actually doing that full time has no beard!

They attend a very active Church of Christ in our area. I love the show. It's scripted, you know. But it's still cracks me up.

Uncle Si is my favorite. I see some of them occasionally in town - like the grocery store - but I leave them alone. They get bugged lot, I think.

My wife and I watch new episodes and she is a really big fan. I like it but it doesn't draw me in as much as it once did. I appreciate the fact that their faith is not hidden and they end each episode with a prayer and family meal. It just isn't as entertaining to me as it once was, partly because as Scarlett O mentioned it is clearly scripted whereas at first there was more of an illusion of some spontaneity. Still, it is better in just about all ways than 90% of the junk on TV these days.

They are gracious people. My wife and I met Willie at the DD headquarters. He is what he is.

Would love to see their family travel up North here to visit Motown, to see the culture shock of Duck Dynasty meeting Detroit rock city!

It is one of the only shows that we watch together as a family.

Our Audio/Video tech at church is just 12 years old. His folks bought him a green DD cup. He brings it and a half gallon full of tea on Wednesday nights and will often say, "Hey Jack." He's even got Si's goofy grin..

Is he trying to grow a beard?
