I think Eight O'Clock Coffee was the brand by the now defunct A&P grocery store chain. A&P is gone but their coffee brand is still around. I really like it.Yeah, for me it's hard to beat original Eight O'clock ground or full bean. Love it fresh ground and fresh perked.

When will companies learn to stay out of the political arena? Or……is EVERYTHING political? Bought their coffee a couple of times to be veteran supportive, but didn’t like the coffee, so not buying from them now is easy peasy.
I'm the same way. I typically have a cup right before going to bed.I drink black coffee morning til night. You’ll be up all night, they say, no….I sleep like a brick. I go through a variety of brands, depending on the time of day. Peets is good when you want stout stuff, but Tim Hortons is a go to.
Thanks Squire R for the videos, & links, I enjoyed them.

I can remember the great smell at the grinder at the A & P store.

Yeah, didn’t want to admit, but usually have SB Veranda blend in the house too. I usually despise flavored coffees but SB’s Toasted Graham is a good end of the day cup. Drinking any coffee after it’s gone cold will give a good assessment of the brand, at least for me.Purewow's guide to the best grocery store coffee:

Just tried Eight O’Clock, guess I’ve been late to the party, or a coffee snob. I really liked it, cheap too, thanks!
