Noticed it when The Gospel Coalition did a brief article about it.

What is scary thought is that many mainline Churches, maybe even well known pastors/teachers will probably endorse it as being a 'good thing!"

From its own advertising: "The QJB is a big, fabulous Bible."

Really?

Folks have done this for ages. They take out the parts they don't like. It doesn't mean much and the textual basis will show their attempt as being error laden. Just part of our society these days.

When will they finally come up with a bible that removes that man is sinful, that way we would could all just get along. I'd call it the Clean James Bible. You know the Emergents like McLaren would love it. No sin, no need for the cross and Jesus won't have to die. We can just all love each other and except everyone no matter what they believe.

CJV, the Clean James Bible--I like it.:laugh:

You are grossly mistaken as to what "Emergents" believe.

He's been told that already numerous times.

As to this "bible"...I thought the homo's entire argument was the Bible doesn't condemn their sin...so why do they need to remove anything?

Amen

A very salient point.

Spot on, the folks who misrepresent the bible say contradictory things, anything in other words to make their case. Here we have folks who said, it does not mean what it says, now saying they need to remove parts of scripture so we will not get the wrong idea. Go figure.

MailOnline (UK) reported on December 17, 2012 that "a book claiming to be the world's first 'gay bible' has been published to coincide with the debate on same-sex marriage." That statement was picked up by other media outlets, but I can't find an original source for that claim.

Sorry, MailOnline but the claim of "the World's first Study Bible for the Gay and Lesbian community" had already been made in 2007 by the publisher of the Study New Testament For Lesbians, Gays, Bi, And Transgender by Dr. Ann Nyland (Australian).
