the custom of the churches after separating from Judaism was observing Sunday, as have ECF all the way into first century stating that was what happened!
No that was apostasy that Jesus and Paul warned of, because of persecution that Jesus said would arise from the Jews, Romans, etc. It's all documented in history.

You mean like Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, Jude, etc, whom all continued to keep God's commandments and keep the 7th day Holy, years after Christ Jesus ascended into Heaven?

Or are you referring to the earliest apostates warned of by those same people?

Hmmm, I think most Baptists (not all) on this board don't know what Baptists used to believe, as they now believe and practice Romanism under the name 'Baptist' (such as sunday sacredness, immortal soul theology, eternal torment, Michael is just a created being, etc).
