Apologetics and Van Til

I came across some who say Van Til was good and others say he taught heresy. Being new to apologetics of this sort, is he something to read or stay away from? Maybe some here have a better grasp and can help me sort this out. I have one book, "Christian Apologetics".

This comes from a list of people I've been reading lately the last half year.

Also, I didn't know where to put this thread so I hope the moderators will be gentle!

Cornelius or Howard?

If Cornelius then you’ll be exposed to Reformed theology, not so hard to stomach but sometimes it may cause a bit if indigestion.

If Howard then if you’re offended by an exploration of theistic evolution perhaps you should find someone else to read.

Neither are light reading

Oh, sorry! I thought there was only one Van Til. I meant Cornelius. So he's pretty safe then?

Dry... I’m not a big fan of presuppositions apologetics
I had to look up the book you mentioned, it apparently explains his method well
I’ve not read it.
I’m familiar with him only by reading shorter papers and excerpts.
