APPOINTED BY GOD

Hebrews 5.1-6

"No one takes the honor to himself" (4). In reality, the priests or the leaders of the church appointed by the churches or by pope, not necessarily represent the true and legitimate appointment of religious authority. Paying around 40k for a piece of paper that authorize a person to be a priest or a pastor, does not make that person a true servant and teacher of GOD, they appointed themselves. Actually, majority of the priests and pastor are false priests and pastors that nothing to do with GOD. Only GOD can appoint His chosen one's on position of authority, and Paul gives good example of it mentioning Aaron.

In this case Aaron and all his descendants after him are chosen priests by GOD forever, not by people but by Authority of GOD only. Only such people appointed by GOD are true and legitimate priests, pastors, and teachers who perform their duties "pertaining to GOD."

Similar things have been said about and Christ. In verse 5 Paul wrote that "Christ did not glorify Himself so as to become a High Priest," but His Father GOD glorified His Son saying, "Today I have begotten You," under this context means, "Appointed You." (Psalm 2.7) (Isaiah 42.1) (Matthew 3.17, 12.18, 17.5) (Mark 9.7) (Luke 9.35) (Acts 13.33) (Hebrews 1.5, 5.5).

Christ became "a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek (king of righteousness)." (6) (Genesis 14.18-20) (Psalm 110.4) (Hebrew 5.6.10, 6.20, 7.1-17). Melchizedek also was a high priest appointed by GOD, otherwise he would not be compared with Christ.

Many people appoint themselves on many positions of leadership and power, but only few appointed by GOD who are true appointees of Most high GOD, and as it often happens, the appointees of GOD always overshadowed by impostors and crooks who took "the seat Moses" and lead the flock of GOD into oblivion.

SUBMISSION AND OBEDIENCE

Hebrews 5.7-9

Jesus Christ, the Son of GOD, is also appointed by His Father to do His (Father's) will. Jesus Christ worship His Father GOD and "offered up both, prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One (GOD Father Who) able to save Him (Christ) from death." This means to One (to GOD Father) Who resurrected Him (Christ) from His death on he cross, "because of His (Christ's) piety." (7).

"was heard because of His submission" - NRSV

"because He was humble and devoted GOD heard Him" - GNB

"was heard because of His godly fear" - Gideons

"was heard for His admiration" - Russian

In verse 8 we read, "Although He (Christ) was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered." Christ already was obedient to His Father from the beginning, and always. So why He have to learn obedience again? This time Christ as a human being in physical flesh have to learn obedience to His parents, to authorities, and even to ordinary people, which He has learned and done through His entire short life of suffering on Earth.

When a person learned sufferings, he or she will understand much better the sufferings of others, and Christ did exactly do that. This is why He was so merciful and compassioned to all those who ask Him for help and relief from their sufferings.

In verse 9 Paul said, "And having been MADE PERFECT." Every mirror image is perfect reflection of the original object. No doubt that Christ is also a PERFECT MIRROR IMAGE AND PERFECT INTELLECTUAL REPRESENTATION OF HIS FATHER GOD in all THE SUBSTANCE OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT. Christ always has been obedient to His Father from the very beginning.

And so is Christ, as PERFECT MIRROR REFLECTION AND IMAGE of His GOD Father, also required obedience to Him as Reflection and Image of His GOD Father, and those who obey Him (Christ), found "the Source of Eternal Salvation." (9).

~ 9. *"made perfect." KSB, KJV, NRSV, NIV, ESV, GNB.
"and having been perfect" Gideons. Word "made" is not present in Gideons Bible.

THE CHURCH

Hebrews 5.11-14

These verses relating to in general terms to all the churches who have similar problem in their midst. Some people spent years going to the church, and amazingly learn practically nothing. Paul also was amazed and marvel at this phenomena seeing people who cannot digest even simplest lessons of the Gospel. They hopelessly lacking understanding and knowledge of the Holy Scripture (1Corinthians 3.1-2) (2Corinthians 5.13) (Hebrews 5.12-14) and cannot understand even basics of the Word of GOD. In other words, "dull of hearing." (11).

GOD Father and His Son Jesus Christ also noticed this problem saying, "Have ears but not hear, have eyes and do not see." For this reason Christ often teach crowds of listeners in parables: (Matthew 13.10-11) (Mark 4.11-12.33-34) (Luke 8.10).

~ Eyes do not see, Ears do not hear: (Deuteronomy 29.4) (Isaiah 6.9-10, 29.10, 43.8) (Ezekiel 12.2) (Matthew 13.13-16) (Mark 4.12, 8.18) (Luke 8.10) (John 12.40) (Acts 28.25-27) (Romans 11.8-10)

An adult, who still need "Spiritual milk" exist in quite shameful state of affairs, while may be successful in work or business, still lacks the godly mind and intelligence to understand "elementary Principals and Oracles of GOD." (12). In the eyes of GOD it seems that smartness and intelligence are not measured by success of material wealth, but by deep understanding of His Word and the way of life according to His Statutes and Commandments. This is the smartest and intelligent way to live in the eyes of GOD and His prophets.

It is also evident from these verses that "solid food," the deep meaning of the Gospel (12.14) is for those who are mature in their Spiritual mind to understand fully the Word of GOD, "who because of practice" (14), means those who practice living according to Statutes and Commandments of GOD, "have their senses trained to discern good and evil." This means making right choices then it comes to life as a Christian, according to the Gospel of Christ.

~ 12-14. (1Corinthians 3.1-2) (2Corinthians 5.13) (Hebrews 5.12-14).

It is not always easy to discern a truly called pastor from a fraud. Fake pastors can say all the right things and seem to be devout. Eventually, weirdness and questionable behaviors will leak out. It can be startling and dismaying.
