Russia’s military intervention in Georgia in the face of Western protests is being viewed by some in the Arab world as evidence of American weakness, with media commentators voicing barely-disguised delight at what they see as a defeat for Washington.

Sorta brings up the question I've heard so many times, "Where is the USA in prophecy?"

Personal opinion: The path the US is taking right now, relegates us to a third world status in power and influence within just a few years; therefore a non-issue in world politics.
