The real Clear Politics Polls [average] show the following:

60.8% of Americans approve of O'bama's job performance.

54.7% of Americans think the country is headed in the wrong direction.

Is this thinking rational?

We need to see the questions asked and how they came to the conclusions they did. What we see is an interpretation. Who knows what is accurate in any given poll.

I'm of half a mind to think this poll is accurate. ;)

The other half says it's not, however.

Could be if the thought process is that the country is headed in the wrong direction but I approve of what Obama is doing to try to turn it around - not that I do.

IMHO (which is lot more humble than you can know) "the country is headed in the wrong direction" and President Obama is doing a very good job trying to head the country in a different direction.

Does anybody know when Spell Check will learn how to spell 'Obama'?

When it underlines "Obama" with a red line, right-click on "Obama" - a menu will pop up and you can then select "Add to dictionary".

I learned two things from your post Ed.

1. What IMHO means.

2. That you are an O'bama supporter.:tear: For shame I thought better of you than that.

If the country is headed in the wrong direction O'bama is at the steering wheel headed straight for a cliff!!:tonofbricks: :tonofbricks:

My Spell Check attachment to Mozilla Firefox only does this until the next time I reboot Mozilla Firefox. BTW, both 'Mozilla' and 'Firefox' ARE DEFINED, but not OBAMA. The latest edition of Mozilla Firefox is better than earlier updates. Those updates would put a random space in the word. After awhile my choices would be:

Oba ma
Ob ama
Obidiah
Alabama
Bamako

I have no idea how to get rid of 'Oba ma'???
The new edition of Mozilla Firefox just ignores my input in my storage.
