When things are seemingly contradictory (but we know they are not really), we each need to let the Holy Spirit lead us into HIS interpretation. Not one that fits what we want it to, according to our personal convictions...
Too many people are trying to push their 'preferences' off on other people as 'convictions'. Maybe we need to study the difference?
It is not up to man to decide what my convictions should be, (even if they are different from yours), it is up to God and I believe I can hear God just like everyone else.
I am not going to change your mind and you're not going to change mine. Instead of beating this dead horse forever, maybe we should be out showing people the way to find the 'real' Truth, Jesus Christ...
