Are my notes on 1 Corinthians 1:1,2 correct?

I did not yet look up the meaning of every word in these two verses, but here are my notes for now:

Notes on 1 Corinthians 1:1,2 KJV

1:1: Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

Note: The first letter to the Corinthians is from Paul and Sosthenes. God appointed Paul as an apostle.

1:2: Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, with all that in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both theirs and ours.

Note: The intended recipient of this letter is the church at Corinth. Paul seems to be saying that the members of this church are holy. I have to look up the meaning of the word "in", but he seems to be saying that the members are in the body of Christ.

Note: The people were invited to be saints, along with everyone (those in every place) who calls on the name of their Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Lord of those in the church at Corinth, and the Lord of everyone who calls on His name.

I failed to comment on every word and phrase. Are my notes correct so far? Is there something missing from them?

I think that some modern translations, and some commentaries, may have influenced my note taking.

I just realized I made a mistake in interpretation. There are two intended recipients, the church at Corinth, and everyone who calls on the name of their Lord Jesus Christ. The text does not seem to say that those in the second group were invited to be saints.

1:2: Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both theirs and ours.

Note: The letter is to God's church at Corinth, and to everyone who invokes the character of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Lord of those in the first group (God's church at Corinth), and the Lord of those in the second group (everyone who invokes His character.)

Note: Those in God's church at Corinth are made holy in the body of Christ and were invited to be saints.
