Are The Laws Done Away With?

This subject in my opinion, is of #2 importance when it comes to putting on the whole armour of God. I've grown up in an environment that expressed that it wasn't required or expedient to keep the laws of God. I attempt to shed light on the subject with this two part video.

I skipped through the video and I believe this might be a Hebrew Roots (HR) presentation or at least a presentation affected by HR teaching.

If it is HR then it is an offshoot of Armstrong's World Tomorrow and denies the Trinity and the deity of Christ.

Whether or not HR a denial of either the Trinity or the deity of Christ is unacceptable.

I think we should discuss those doctrine before any other.
It might make a difference as to where this discussion takes place i.e. Is Servant Morris a Baptist or should this discussion take place in a NON-BAPTIST FORUM?

The original Armstrong group did become Trinitarian Orthodox, but still retained some peculiarities of doctrine, even though not enough for Martin to continue labeling them as a cult (same as he did with the SDAs).

However, those who continued to maintain the original Armstrong-type doctrines broke away and splintered into a dozen or more separate groups, each being binitarian, 7th day, plus other mixed views otherwise found among the Mormons, JWs, and Christian Scientists as well as keeping as many aspects of the OT law as possible.

Judge the video on that basis (and no, I didn't watch it).

Hi Ziggy, I watched it and began skipping around in the video and it appears to be a Hebrews Roots (HR) based video.

I would like Servant Morris to present his position concerning the Trinity and the deity of Christ before becoming involved with a discussion of Law keeping.

Yes there are many off shoots - Hebrew Roots (HR) is one (actually several versions) of break away from Armstrongism. Even of the "trinitarians" so called - many maybe most, possibly all are Modalists off sorts. after talking with one you see that right away.

We had a member of our church go into the HR Movement and leave. I could not convince him otherwise.

So as a Modalist is to say that they deny that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons.

Van Til is a Trinitarian who has at times wrongly been accused of Modalism.
