Are there any apologetic books that deal with Evolution and fossils/geology/carbon dating?

What if God created everything to have a built in Aged look, but still be quite young?

Why do people say that the earth looks old? That's a sincere question.

Could the curse make the world look old? We have an abundance of natural resources so we don't have to worry with good stewardship. It's the Hindus & pagans who think everything is old & hopeless.

First things first, it wasn’t a UNIVERSAL FLOOD, it was described as a world-wide flood. You have take the biblical hyperbole to a whole new level.

Second,
Think your recent flood theory through and follow its consequences.
I’ll keep variables very simple.

Theory
1. Recent flood ... say less than 10k years ago.
2. Limited gene pool of animal life (only those on the ark).

Current environment
1. A wide genetic diversity
2. Multiplicity of animal types

Conclusion:
It’s true, current evolutionary theory can not explain the diversity of animal life if there was a young earth and a recent world-wide flood.

SO....Creation science doesn’t mean “NO EVOLUTION”, it requires a quantum-force evolution in order to explain the current environment.

God did not use ANY form of evolution except for within the species, as that was one one male/female pair of dogs had within them all of the various breeds to come about in History!

Again, this issue all depends if one sees Genesis account as being literal and actual factual history, or if just Myth or metaphor!

the fall really did cause chaos and disruption of the creation on a universal scale!

Thanks, and I wouldn't say I'm confused, just want to better understand and argue my viewpoint better. Not everyone needs to study let's says the Mormons to understand their religion is false and full of holes. But if you were to talk with a Mormon, you would need to know some arguments otherwise they would walks away thinking they are right.
If you are planning to discuss science with a scientist, you should definitely not argue the age of the earth or universe. You will not have science on your side, only appearance of age, which will mean nothing to a non-believer.

Atheists tend to argue the opposite way when it comes to design. They argue appearance of design, an interesting reversal for which they have no support, other than wanting to believe there is no God. Such "scientifically-minded" folk tend to be very poor philosophers.

Not sure this point was clear enough. If I understand correctly, you are saying that:

1. Evolutionary theory cannot account for the diversity we see, if the earth is young, regardless of a global flood.

2. Similarly, a young earth position coupled with a global flood cannot account for the diversity we see, unless evolution is far more powerful than even evolutionists believe.

Is that what you are saying?

Evolution is scientifically impossible. American professors are very backwards in their unscientific support of evolution. The modern world is passing American scientists by. A lot of them are led intellectually by Greta Thunberg, the Swedish actress.
