that He can save those in such circles, and use them to evangelise thruthose musical genres?
Know that MANY christians involves in country, and some in rock...
Should they all leave, and just play now 'church music?"

I saw Petra 3 times when I was in high school....many many moons ago. My sons snag my CD's now and then and listen while doing their chores.
Some local churches and businesses sponsor a Christian music festival every August in our town. It's called Downpour Music Festival. We have seen Newsboys, KJ52, Jeremy Camp, David Crowder, Seventh Day Slumber, Plum, and a bunch of others. There are usually 4 bands Friday night and 4 on Saturday. Then Sunday we have church in the park which involves a local pastor preaching and a praise team from a local church leading the music....except last year, when David Crowder stayed an extra day to lead worship.
Christian music, regardless of style, is something we enjoy. It would be music that honors God and keeps Christ at the forefront.

Seriously? You edited this post for spelling? What happened, did you get it right the first time?

That sounds awesome!! And having worship led by Crowder must have been great. He's weird looking but talented and has such a heart for the Lord.
However, my personal standard is that there are certain types of music that christians ought to stay away from, such as hard rock / metal and rap. My feelings stem from the connotation that these genres have. They have been completely overtaken by the world, and as such, using them identifies us with the world too much for me. I am not saying they are sin. I am just saying that in my opinion, there needs to be more separation.
For instance, you wouldn't hold a bible study in a bar (although a few years ago I read a newspaper article of a men's bible study being held at Hooters). Even though there would be nothing technically wrong with it, we wouldn't allow ourselves to identify with the world in that way. For me, music is the same.
If your conscience allows you to listen to those genres and still glorify the Lord, by all means, go ahead. That's part of our christian liberty. But for me, I can't do it.
