But how can I know that God has credited my faith as righteousness, so I am reborn and headed for heaven?

If a person was 100% sincere, even fanatical, for while, witnessing to people, loving God, eagerly studying the Bible, etc. then backslides all the way into brief atheism, then recovers faith through a 2nd spiritual awakening, can they be sure of heaven? How?
Our assurance for believing we are "of the faith" is provided by our individual assessment, do we believe because of subjective evidence, we are actually indwelt with the Holy Spirit. I believe I am. I count insights that come to me through prayerful study as evidence. I count my assessment I am with God, and He is with me. And of course, my awareness of my short comings, provides evidence of His presence. But it is all subjective.

That my Brother is depending on if one see this thru Calvinist lens, as I do, or by free will, as Van does
Folks, I have posted dozens of times, i believe in Limited Spiritual Ability, NOT free will. This poster continues to misrepresent my view, just like a troll.

Do you hold that a lost sinner can freely responds to the offer of the Gospel message to now get saved?

Do you hold that a troll should be able to derail discussion of the gospel?

Do you even know which verses teach about being "established" in Christ?
